Official Hige Dandism’s new song “Sharon” has been chosen as the theme song for the drama “Mountain Doctor” starring Yosuke Sugino

Official Hige Dandism’s new song “Sharon” has been chosen as the theme song for the Kansai TV/Fuji TV Monday 10pm drama “Mountain Doctor,” which begins airing on July 8th.

A “mountain doctor” relies solely on his own knowledge and skills to save the lives of those in front of him.

“Mountain Doctor” is a mountain medical drama that depicts the protagonist, orthopedic surgeon Ayumu Miyamoto, played by Yosuke Sugino, as he grows as a mountain doctor by interacting with senior mountain doctors and patients who have various thoughts and feelings, and by facing reality. The story is set in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.

The theme song “Sharon” was made possible by an enthusiastic offer to Official Hige Dandism from KTV producer Tadashi Kondo, who said, “I absolutely want Higedan to do the theme song.” The sound source will be released on June 14th and can be enjoyed on the drama’s official SNS along with the promotional spots in the drama’s main video, and will also be broadcast on TV in episode 10 of the drama “Unmet” on June 17th.

“Sharon” will also be included on Official Hige Dandism’s third major album in three years, “Rejoice” (released on July 24th).

We all have several places to belong, and when we tend to forget or neglect one of them, the sense of helplessness we feel at times like that has always been with me ever since I started working.
My life changed from work and band to band and family, but the sense of disappointment was the same.
But both of those things support me and make me stronger. Having a place to go back to, things I want to work hard for, that happiness, the regret that I can’t have both, and the dreams and meaning in life that I want to achieve even if it means carrying that regret – the importance of all these emotions came together like a pattern and it made me want to write this song.
I hope that this song will add a nice touch to the world of “Mountain Doctor.”

Is it okay to have such a wonderful song? Thank you for the wonderful theme song. When I listened to the song you sent me, I felt so excited. After listening to it once, I listened to it again and again. Actually, I came to Nagano for the drama shoot with my favorite clothes still in the wash, and I was really depressed. But when I heard this song, I thought, “It’s okay!” (laughs). I thought it was a song that made me feel like it was a small thing on a cosmic scale, and it really cheered me up. When I listened to the song, I was convinced that the song would combine with the drama to deliver energy to the viewers and make them feel like they can move forward. While listening to Official Hige Dandism’s wonderful song, we will raise our morale and do our best in the filming, so everyone, please look forward to “Mountain Doctor”!

When I was a fifth grader growing up in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, my hometown was in a great state of excitement. The drama “Hakusen Nagoshi” was broadcast on TV, and everyone living in the town, including my friends at school, teachers, my parents, and strangers, was watching the drama with such enthusiasm. My town was on the TV screen, and the actors acting there were shining. I felt so excited that I even thought that my town was the center of the world at this very moment. Maybe that’s why, when I hear the theme song for “Hakusen Nagoshi,” “Sora mo Toberu Hazu,” sung by Spitz, my heart still lifts up and I feel excited, just like I did back then. When it was decided that I could make a drama in my hometown of Matsumoto City, the first thing I thought was that I wanted the people who watched this drama and the local people to feel the same way I did back then. That’s why I really wanted to ask an artist who could give me a tremendous sense of excitement and excitement, who could fit the worldview of the drama, and take the viewers to the center of the world to write the theme song. For me, that is Official Hige Dandism, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else being there. It’s a wonderful theme song. I hope you enjoy it along with the images of the drama set in the midst of nature.
