Riria will be performing the opening theme song for the drama “That Child” starring Hiyori Sakurada. Her new song “Hey, Are You Listening Properly?” has been decided.

Riria’s new song “Hey, are you listening properly?” has been selected as the opening song for the Kansai TV/Fuji TV Tuesday Drama Eleven “Anoko no Kodomo”. The song will be released digitally on June 26th.

“Anoko no Kodomo” is a drama based on the manga of the same name by Aoi Mamoru, which won the 47th Kodansha Manga Award in the girls’ category. The story revolves around the theme of “high school pregnancy,” and depicts a high school sophomore couple whose daily lives change drastically when the couple discovers that the other is pregnant. Sakurada Hiyori plays the main character, Kawakami Fuku, and Hosoda Kaito plays her boyfriend, Tsukishima Takara.

This song, written specifically for “Anoko no Kodomo”, is a medium-tempo ballad with lyrics that are life-sized and relatable to people of the same generation and gender, and an emotional singing voice that touches the heart.

A high school student becomes pregnant. I was moved by the original work, which carefully depicts the good fortune and treasure that this event brings, as well as the problems that all those involved with the couple face.
“Hey, are you listening?” was written with the hope of a happy future filled with fortune and treasure.
I hope this song will add color to the story of these two people.

When we first heard it, we were touched by the song’s resonance with the delicate feelings of the characters of the same generation, and it instantly expanded the worldview of the drama.
