The poster visual for the Tuesday drama “Saionji-san Doesn’t Do Housework,” starring Matsumoto Wakana and Matsumura Hokuto (SixTONES), which will start on TBS at 10pm on July 9th, has been released.

This drama is based on the comic of the same name by Satoru Hiura (serialized in Kodansha’s “BE・LOVE” magazine). It is a heartwarming love comedy that makes you think “What is happiness? What is a family?” through the unusual cohabitation of the main character, Mr. Saionji (Matsumoto), who does not do any housework at all, and the younger single father, Kusumi (Matsumura), and his daughter.

The poster visual that has just been released features Saionji and Kusumi, who have come to live together as a “fake family,” along with Kusumi’s daughter Luca and Saionji’s pet dog Riki, depicting the housework and child-rearing that go along with their daily lives in a pop and colorful style.

During the shoot, Matsumoto and Matsumura showed off a variety of poses, changing their expressions every time the shutter was clicked. This made even the slightly tedious household chores and hectic child-rearing seem fun and lively, like a lively party.

A fisheye lens was used for this shoot, which gave it depth and impact. It has also been decided that the Tuesday drama “Saionji-san Doesn’t Do Housework” will be distributed on the official commercial television distribution services “TVer” and “TBS FREE”, as well as the video distribution service “U-NEXT Paravi Corner”.

■ Episode 1 Synopsis
She works hard! And doesn’t do any housework! The main character, Kazuki Nishizonji (Wakana Matsumoto), is a 38-year-old single woman who works at the app development company “ResQ”. The app she made has been downloaded 5 million times, and her work is going smoothly. In her private life, she bought a house and started living with her beloved dog, and her long-cherished wish of “zero housework” has been realized, leading a very fulfilling life both in public and private.

However, her peaceful life changes when an engineer, Toshinao Kusumi (Hokuto Matsumura), who has just returned from the United States, transfers to her workplace. Kusumi is unsociable and expressionless, and is also uncooperative. He criticizes the app in a logical manner, so she and Kusumi do not get along at all, and her stress is on the verge of exploding.

Meanwhile, Nishizonji, who was instructed by the company president Amano (Fujii Takashi) to deepen his friendship with Kusumi, has no choice but to go to dinner with him. However, she learns an unexpected side of Kusumi there and her impression of him changes drastically. Furthermore, she learns the secret that Kusumi is a single father raising a 4-year-old daughter, Luca (Kurata Eima)…
