Masaki Suda’s new album track “Kujira” has been chosen as the Fuji TV 2024 athlete support song! He also meets male volleyball player Yuki Ishikawa

It has been decided that Masaki Suda will be in charge of the Fuji TV 2024 Athlete Support Song in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics, which will begin on July 26th.

The song is “Kujira” from their third album “SPIN” to be released on July 3. The motif of this song is a whale, a creature who loves and cares for its family, and it is a song that will resonate with not only the athletes competing in the Paris Olympics, but also their supportive friends and the people who cheer them on.

Suda commented on the song, “I think it’s a pretty straightforward rock song. I hope it reaches everyone as a song that makes you want to sing along with your loved ones, a song that encourages and inspires each other.” The full song will be revealed on Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV” on June 26th.

In addition, prior to the release of the song, Suda had a meeting with Ishikawa Yuki (captain of the Japanese men’s volleyball team), one of the notable athletes at the Paris Olympics.

The special interview with the two will be broadcast in full on the “Paris Olympics Countdown Special Program – Masaki Suda & Kasumi Ishikawa” on July 6th at 1:30pm. The program will be broadcast in the Kanto region and other areas, and streamed on TVer and FOD.
