The second lineup of artists to appear in the special TV Tokyo 60th anniversary project “TV Tokyo Music Festival 2024 Summer – What was common sense in the Showa era is uncommon sense in the Reiwa era! Awesome Showa era masterpieces vs. 100 Reiwa era hit songs in a row,” which will be broadcast from 5:30 pm on June 26th, has been announced.
The 16 acts who have been confirmed to appear this time are =LOVE, HY, &TEAM, OCTPATH, Sakurazaka46, DA PUMP, Cho Tokimeki (Heart) Sendenbu, Bullet Train, Nishikawa Takanori, Nomurasaki, Nogizaka46, Hinatazaka46, WHITE SCORPION, ME:I, Morning Musume ’24, and ONE N’ ONLY (in alphabetical order).
■Also look out for the unique collaboration MC by Nankai Candies x Anochan that can only be seen on TV Tokyo!
In addition to Nankai Candies, who have already been announced as the show’s MCs, Ano has been selected to host “Ano-chan’s Den Den Denpa♪,” which airs every Tuesday from 26:00. Don’t miss this unique collaboration between Nankai Candies and Ano-chan that can only be seen on TV Tokyo.
To commemorate TV Tokyo’s 60th anniversary in 2024, this year’s “TV Tokyo Music Festival” will feature a lineup of talented artists, mainly from the J-POP genre, performing everything from timeless classics to the latest hits. The show will be broadcast live from TV Tokyo’s studios and locations related to the 60th anniversary (some of the show will be pre-recorded).
In addition, they will conduct a survey of “Showa era masterpieces” and “Reiwa era’s latest songs” through interviews in the streets, and will reveal masterpieces that should be sung by the next generation. The live broadcast of about 4 hours and 30 minutes will liven up TV Tokyo’s 60th anniversary year.
This program will be streamed live and on catch-up on TVer, and also available on catch-up on TV Tokyo’s internet channel.
