Aimyon has announced that her fifth album, “Jealousy for Cats,” will be released on September 11th.

The album to be released this time will be the first in about two years since the previous album “Hitomi e Ochiyo Record”. In addition to five singles such as “Ai no Hana”, the theme song for the NHK 2023 first half serial drama “Ranman”, and “Aini Iku No Ni”, the theme song for the currently airing Kansai TV/Fuji TV drama “Unmet: Aru Brain Surgeon no Nikki”, it has been decided that eight new songs will be included, including “Lucky Color”, the new theme song for “Calpis R” which started airing in April.

The first limited edition includes uncut live footage from “AIMYON TOUR 2023-Magical Bathroom-IN TOKYO GARDEN THEATER” held in 2023, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the backstage of the national tour, “Behind the Scenes of the Bandai-san.” It also comes with a 40-page tour photo booklet, making it a luxurious release with plenty of content.

In addition, various store specials were announced, and it was decided that Amazon.co.jp and Rakuten Books will sell a set with an original T-shirt. It was also decided that everyone who preorders the album by July 21st will receive a “Neko ni Jealousy Original Block Memo” as a gift.

The cover photo was also released to coincide with this announcement. The cover photo was created with the motif of Aimyon’s face, made with mosaic art, and the art direction was handled by Tonda Hayashi Ran, who also worked on previous works.

Aimyon will hold her first joint tour in about five years, “AIMYON vs TOUR 2024 “Love Call 2″” on June 25th with eight shows in four cities nationwide, and will also hold a national tour “AIMYON TOUR 2024-25 “Dolphin Apart”” with 30 shows nationwide from September. The first pressing of the new album will include a lottery ticket with a serial number for the tour starting in September.
