Toshinobu Kubota’s new song “the Beat of Life”, his first in about three years and eight months, will be available for streaming from June 19th. The full version of the music video has now been released.
“The Beat of Life” was written as a commercial song for the brand-wide collection “LAYERS of TIME” commemorating the 100th anniversary of the CITIZEN brand watch. The theme of “LAYERS of TIME” is likened to life (a single thick beat), creating a wonderful crossover, making it a heavy and groovy song that is unique to Toshinobu Kubota.
In the music video, Kubota moves with absolute groove in various situations such as a church, a street, a rooftop, and a studio, and the documentary footage traces his musical career. You can experience a passionate performance that will never get boring.
