Yukos shows off her bold swimsuit and underwear look in her first gravure photobook since HKT48

Yuko Sugamoto, also known as “Yukos”, has decided to release “Yukos Photo Book Charming” on August 9th.

After leaving HKT48, Yukos lived a NEET life, but after winning the runner-up position in Miss iD, she rose like a phoenix. Calling herself a “popular creator,” she started self-promotion and communication on social media for girls, which led to her big break.

Currently, he is an influencer and YouTuber with nearly 2 million social media followers, but he also works as a talent, model, cosmetics producer, president of KOS Inc., and businessman, running the live streamer agency 321.inc.

Now that Yukos has gotten married and turned 30, she has approached Kodansha herself and requested that her favorite photographer take photos of her as she is now, which led to the release of her photo book.

The shoot took place in Okinawa, which she loves, and the photo book is like a “textbook on charm,” packed with all kinds of faces, from a childlike, makeup-free look to the cute and cunning charm of an adult.

This time, I will be releasing my first photo book! Thanks to you, I have released many books such as style books and business books, but this is my first photo book. What’s more, it is a gravure idol-level photo book, with swimsuits and underwear!
I got married last year, and now that I’m in my 30s, I want my favorite photographer to take beautiful pictures of my body, and I want to create a photo book filled with all the things I love and that are cute, so I went to Kodansha and asked them directly (laughs).
The title “Charming” was decided before I even went to the shoot. Rather than being charming for someone else, I like being charming myself. So, this time I’m shooting as charming as I can!
I’m not as slim or toned as a model, but I really love my body. It’s plump, but I think it’s cute. The photographer, Kuwashima-san, captured it in a way that made it even more attractive, so I love myself many times more than I ever did before!
We had a lot of costumes prepared, and we took nearly 10,000 photos in total. Many of the shots were shot with a hidden theme or homage, so you can imagine, “What was the theme?” (laughs)
Although the initial forecast called for rain throughout the entire 3 nights and 4 days of Okinawa location shooting, thanks to Yukos power, it was a miracle that the weather was sunny! While feeling the nature, the photo book is filled with various charms of me that I have never seen before.
