Ado’s new song “Lulu” will be the theme song for the drama “Billion x School” starring Ryosuke Yamada

■ “It’s a very intense song, and it has a new flavor that requires physical energy just to listen to it. It’s an energetic song that depicts a rebellious spirit that wants to destroy the accepted notion of correctness.” (Ado)

Ado’s new song “Lulu” has been chosen as the theme song for the Fuji TV Friday 9pm drama “Billion x School” (every Friday from 9pm), which begins airing on July 5th.

The drama “Billion x School,” starring Yamada Ryosuke, is a school comedy that depicts the story of the protagonist, a billionaire and head of Japan’s largest conglomerate, who hides his identity and becomes a teacher at a school, facing various problems but growing together with his students.

The theme song, “Lulu,” was provided by Vocaloid producer MARETU and is about rebelling against the rules of a world full of contradictions. The thick, hard melody is combined with Ado’s singing, which shifts gears like a split personality, to create a theme song that matches the worldview of the drama, which is about “breaking common sense.”

“Lulu” will be available for streaming from 10:15pm on July 5th after the first episode of the drama. The cover art, designed by artist Ninomae, has also been revealed. “Lulu” will also be included in Ado’s album “Zanmu” to be released on July 10th.

■Comment from Ado
I have been asked to write the theme song for “Billion x School”. The theme song, “Lulu”, was written by MARETU.
It’s a very intense song, and it has a new taste that requires physical strength even to listen to. It’s an energetic song that depicts a rebellious spirit that wants to destroy the correctness that has been determined. I hope you will enjoy not only the drama but also the theme song.

[Synopsis]
A new homeroom teacher arrives for class 3-0 at private Eto Academy, where students with “zero motivation, zero talent, and zero future potential” are gathered. The teacher assigned to this bottom-tier class, commonly referred to as “class zero” and ridiculed, is a handsome but somewhat quirky teacher named Kagami Rei (Yamada Ryosuke). This teacher, whose assets and drive are “exceptional,” does not follow the common sense of the school at all. His true identity is that he is the CEO of one of Japan’s leading conglomerates, and is a “millionaire = billionaire.”

Times change, but the roots of the problems adolescent children face remain the same. And yet, the educational field is constantly changing. Don’t get angry, don’t force anything, don’t call students by their first names, don’t get too involved with students… In these days when people are lamenting, “Are teachers even necessary in this age of AI?”, a new hero, a “new school leader,” appears who shatters such common sense.

Kagami has perfect looks, a perfect brain, and perfect management skills. How will such a perfect Kagami face a class that seems to be a condensed version of the problems that modern children face? And what will the students learn from Kagami? This is where the unknown exchange between Kagami and “Class Zero” – “the top teacher of the undefeated family x the bottom-tier loser class” begins.
