Super Tokimeki♡Sendenbu's first starring live-streamed drama "Retry, Youth!" to be released on Blu-ray

■The first drama starring six members of Cho Toki Sensei: Tsujino Kanami, An Julia, Sakai Nika, Koizumi Haruka, Suda Aiki, and Yoshikawa Hiyori!

The Blu-ray of the drama “Retry, Youth!”, in which the six members of Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu starred for the first time, has been announced for release on September 18th.

This drama was streamed live on Rakuten TV on March 29th, 30th, and 31st. The entire school building was rented out, and the 120-minute nonstop performance was filmed with multiple cameras switching between scenes, creating an unprecedented live-streamed drama in real time. The suspense of not knowing what will happen until the very end, the daily viewer participation projects and ad-libs by the actors, and the moving storyline have viewers saying, “I want to watch it again and again!” On the first day of streaming, the hashtag “Retry Youth School Trip” trended on social media, showing excitement.

The Blu-ray main feature includes the lively final episode broadcast on March 31st (Day 3), which received the most attention. It also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the surprise announcement of the cast’s lead role, the cast meeting and rehearsals, and behind-the-scenes footage leading up to the show. It also includes footage of the members earnestly facing this unprecedented challenge for about two months, as well as the emotional, tearful scenes that were the subject of discussion in the trailer.

As the members say, “I’ve never felt so much love from the other members in a production before,” this is a coming-of-age drama that is different from the main story, making it one not to be missed.

The performance footage (Day 1 & Day 2) of the theme song “Retry, Youth!” will also be included in its entirety. You can once again enjoy the different costumes chosen by viewer votes and the subtle differences in the performances on each day.
In addition, the first press will include a prize lottery entry ticket that can be used to enter a raffle for luxurious prizes, including autographed prizes, and a meet-and-greet event will be held at a certain location in Tokyo. Details will be announced at a later date.

In commemoration of the release of the Blu-ray, the main visual has been renewed. If you look closely, you will see that the tagline has been rewritten in handwritten letters by Sakai, who plays Ichigo, from “90 minutes non-stop!” to “120 minutes non-stop!”, the actual length of the film. This is a playful device that can only be found in this work, which is created in real time.

Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu will be holding a live tour from July to September, including overseas performances, and will hold a solo concert at Saitama Super Arena on December 28th.
