Maharajan’s first best album “Best of Maharajan” to be released

■The physical version includes a Blu-ray containing the entire solo live performance “Let’s Turban!” held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on July 22, 2022!

Maharajan will release his first greatest hits album, “Best of Maharajan,” on September 25th.

The album will include 15 carefully selected songs, newly remastered, from their 2019 indie debut EP “Ii Koto ga Shitai” to their latest EP “Zone Ni Iru Imasu” in 2024, including the long-running hit “Sara☆Muntaro,” which became widely known among music fans.

In addition to the CD, the physical version will come with a Blu-ray containing the full recording of their first solo concert since their major debut, “Let’s Turban!”, held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on July 22, 2022.

In addition to the Maharajan Band, which is made up of well-known musicians Sho Ogawa (guitar), Masato Minagawa (keyboard), Ippei Sawamura (drums/ SANABAGUN.), and Haruna Makiyama (bass), the horn section led by Yoshinari Takegami made a special appearance that night. The eight-person band created a dynamic sound.

At the end of the main feature, there is a surprise appearance and a scene where Hama Okamoto (OKAMOTO’S), who has participated in the recording of numerous albums since their major debut, performs together with the band.

Maharajan is scheduled to embark on a solo tour visiting seven locations across the country this autumn, so this album’s release seems like it will come at the perfect time.
