Purple Now, the new song "Ginmokusei" has been chosen as the theme song for the drama "Please be more unfortunate than me"

The theme song for the second installment of “Drama DEEP,” “Please Be More Unfortunate Than Me,” which will begin airing on Nippon Television’s Tuesday Platinum Night slot on July 9th, has been decided to be “Ginmokusei” by Murasaki Ima.

“Please Be More Unfortunate Than Me” is based on the popular webtoon of the same name which won the grand prize at the “comico Women’s Manga Original Awards” held on the novel submission site Everystar in 2022 and was then adapted into a comic on comico.

A fierce battle between a younger sister who is trying to trap her older sister with her crazy desires and an older sister who wants to get her happiness back is unfolding. The older sister Keiko is played by Ayako Yoshitani, and the younger sister Shiho is played by Rina Asakawa. And Murasaki Ima’s new song “Ginmokusei” adds depth to the drama.

In addition, a promotional video for “Please Be More Unfortunate Than Me,” which uses the theme song “Ginmokusei,” will be released on the NTV Drama Official YouTube Channel, Drama Official X, the drama’s official website, and other sites from around 12:54am, immediately after the end of the final episode of the DEEP drama “The Wife Whose Liver Was Stolen” on June 25th.

I am truly honored to be able to perform the theme song for “Please Be More Unfortunate Than Me.”
This is my first time singing a theme song for a drama.
I wrote this song hoping to create something that would encourage the protagonist in a story where happiness and misfortune collide.
