SHINee KEY’s original Japanese single “Tongue Tied” is now available for pre-release! A special website where the “strange fortune teller” KEY can give you a fortune is also now open.

Pre-release digital distribution of SHINee KEY’s first Japanese single in about six years, “Tongue Tied,” began at midnight on June 26th.

The title track “Tongue Tied” is a pop punk song with a heavy kick drum as the main focus, western guitar, marching sounds, and whistles that leave a strong impact. The witty lyrics and KEY’s unique vocals express the moment when your heart is stolen by someone and you are at a loss for words.

The B-side “Fresh” is a dance pop song that features a light synthesizer and a four-on-the-floor rhythm, matched with KEY’s refreshing vocals. The song expresses the feeling of being unable to escape from the crush you have for your partner all day.

Additionally, a pack shot image of the CD single, which will be released on August 7th, has also been released. The design embodies KEY’s free-spirited ideas, which have been developed with conceptual themes in each of his works, and this work also features a selection of attractive products with original specifications, such as tarot cards.

As part of the development of this game, “Tongue Tied,” a website called “Mr. Freak’s Online Consulting” has been set up. By selecting a language and inputting your concerns, you can receive advice from KEY, who has become Mr. Freak, a Freaky Fortuneteller. You can experience the world of the service as if you were actually visiting a counseling center.

KEY will release the music video teaser for “Tongue Tied” on July 2nd, and the full music video on July 3rd.
