■Contains a total of 20 songs, including songs featuring Aina the End and numerous tie-up songs!

Kenshi Yonezu will release his sixth album, “LOST CORNER,” on August 21. The cover art and track list, which Kenshi Yonezu himself designed, have now been made public.

The album will include 20 tracks, including “Sayonara Mata Itsuka!”, the theme song for the popular NHK morning drama “Tora ni Tsubasa”, “Garakata”, the theme song for the movie “The Last Mile” that will be released this summer, “Chikyuu Gyo”, the theme song for Studio Ghibli’s “How Do You Live?”, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and was directed by Hayao Miyazaki (the “崎” character is officially spelled “tatsusaki” in Japanese), “M87”, the theme song for the movie “Shin Ultraman”, “Tsuki wo Miteita”, the theme song for the game “FINAL FANTASY XVI”, and “KICK BACK”, the opening theme for the TV anime “Chainsaw Man”, which was the first Japanese song to be certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In addition to being a masterpiece that features a number of famous songs that have colored many of these masterpieces, it has also been announced that eight new songs unique to the album will be added.

The new songs include “Margherita + Aina the End,” which features Aina the End on vocals, and other songs, making this a full album that gives a taste of Kenshi Yonezu’s current style.

Product details for the 4-CD version have also been revealed. The “junk version” is packaged in a visually stunning, artistic object case, with the “junk” goods inside. The “video version” comes with a Blu-ray or DVD containing live footage of all 23 songs from the tour finale of “Yonezu Kenshi 2023 TOUR / Fantasy,” including the encore performance at Yokohama Arena, and is packaged in a tin case with a digipack and book. The “regular version” is also a limited edition first pressing, allowing you to enjoy the world of “LOST CORNER” visually as well.

Expectations are high for “LOST CORNER,” the band’s first album in about four years since their previous album “STRAY SHEEP,” which set a record for the highest ranking by a Japanese artist on the 2020 annual global ranking, the “IFPI Global Album All Format Chart 2020,” and has sold over 1.9 million CDs in total.
