Japan debut is just around the corner! FANTASY BOYS’ first Japan tour finale “We’ll become an even cooler team, so please keep watching us!”

On June 4th, FANTASY BOYS, a group formed through the popular Korean boy group survival audition program “Boy Fantasy – Afterschool Thrills Season 2”, held the final performance of their first Japan tour “FANTASY BOYS ZEPP TOUR 2024 -First Love-” at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo.

Final performance of “FANTASY BOYS ZEPP TOUR 2024 -First Love-” at Zepp Haneda

The 10 members, Kang Min-seo, Lee Han-bin, Hikari, Lynch, Hikaru, Kim Wooseok, Hong Sung-min, Oh Hyun-tae, Kim Gyu-rae, and Keidan, captivated fan bandi with unit performances, solo singing, and cover songs, focusing on the three mini-albums they have released so far, including their third mini-album, “MAKE SUNSHINE.”

The opening was based on a school concept, with the 10 members appearing in uniform-like outfits.

When they performed “Pitter-Patter-Love,” the lead song from their latest mini-album “MAKE SUNSHINE,” the audience erupted in cheers of “So cute!”

The song has a distinctive chorus that makes you want to hum along, and the cute dance also expresses the excitement of first love.

The following song, “MAKE SUNSHINE,” was refreshing, cute, and packed with excitement, brightening up the venue even more.

While Bandi and his friends were engrossed in watching the stage, they smelled a pleasant aroma…

The members had put together a nice arrangement to make this moment shareable, and the venue was filled with the gentle scent of flowers.

After performing the two songs, the members introduced themselves in Japanese.

When leader Kang Min-seo said, “Today is the last concert (of the tour). We’re not letting Bandi go!”, Bandi let out cheers of joy, but other members also chimed in, saying, “Where did you learn that?”

Ahead of their long-awaited Japanese debut on June 19th, they performed the lead song “New Tomorrow JAPANESE ver.” from their Japanese debut mini-album “MAKE A FANTASY.”

It was a powerful song that seemed to give us a boost for the new tomorrow, and the bandi members all shouted out in unison, creating a lively atmosphere together.

Afterwards, the members performed covers of SHINee’s “View” and NCT U’s “90’s Love.” They delivered a refreshing yet sharp FANTASY BOYS-like performance to Bandi. Lee Hanbin then muttered, “I dedicate this to Bandi,” before singing a solo of Kenshi Yonezu’s “Lemon,” his voice low but lustrous.

“Feeling,” written and composed by Hikaru, is sung by Lee Hanbin, Lynch, Hong Sungmin, and Hikaru as a unit, expressing the charm of the song with sad expressions.

In the talk segment, they held a dance silhouette quiz titled “Physical Education Time” at FANTASY BOYS Academy. They split into two teams and had to guess the dance for the song from its silhouette. As the second half of the event progressed, some members were able to guess the silhouette but not the dance. However, they still got along well and consulted with each other and taught each other the dance, giving us a glimpse of how close they are.

When they performed the songs “RUN,” “Hold Tight,” and “Gesture” from the audition program “Shounen Fantasy,” both as units and as a group, the band members who knew the members from the program were instantly captivated by the stage. They presented a cool and sophisticated performance, a stark departure from their previous cute and refreshing style.

They performed “I’ll Be,” a song also from the show, in a line on stage, and were surrounded by green penlights, the group’s color, bringing the venue together.

Just as the concert seemed to be drawing to a close, a birthday song started playing to surprise Lynch, whose birthday it was that day. When a birthday cake appeared, Lynch’s face was filled with emotion.

When Lynch blew on the members’ fingers, which were like candles, the members and the entire Bandi audience cried out “Congratulations!” Lynch began his speech in his native Chinese, despite being asked by the other members to cry, “It’s okay for you to cry, Lynch.” Lynch expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m glad I got to spend my birthday with so many Bandi members. I hope I can continue to spend my birthdays and the members’ birthdays together in the future.”

Then, under blue lights, FANTASY BOYS performed “Shangri-La.”

Dressed in uniforms that exuded the youthful feel that they are known for, they sang a song that was both cute and cool.

Bandi gave an encore, finishing with a performance of the song “FANTASY” from the show.

Every move of the dance was perfectly synchronized, and the ten members performed a powerful group dance until the very end.

At the end, each of the ten members expressed their love and gratitude for Bandi.

Japanese member Hikaru stated his determination for the future, saying, “We’ll become an even cooler team, so stay tuned!” The audience erupted in applause, and the two-hour concert came to a close.

FANTASY BOYS’ first ever tour of Japan has finally begun.

Starting at Zepp Namba on May 25th, the tour has performed six shows at four locations across the country.

After delivering a top-notch performance to the Japanese band right in front of our eyes, they will finally make their Japanese debut on June 19th with “MAKE A FANTASY.”

A pop-up store to celebrate their Japanese debut will be opening at Shibuya Modi this weekend on June 8th, so they are all set to celebrate their debut.

It will be exciting to see how FANTASY BOYS, a group filled with fresh sensibilities such as refreshing, cool, cool, and cute, will grow in the future.
