fhana will be performing the opening theme song “Angels’ Song” for the TV anime “Gimai Seikatsu”! It will also be released digitally on Wednesday, July 4th!

fhána is a three-member band formed by Junichi Sato (key, cho), towana (vocal), and Kevin Mitsunaga (sampler, etc.).

Last year marked the 10th anniversary of her debut, and she launched a new agency and embarked on a new adventure, including changing labels, releasing the EP “Beautiful Dreamer,” and has continued to work energetically, including holding a live tour both in Japan and overseas to promote it.

It has also been decided that they will perform the opening theme song for the TV anime “Gimai Seikatsu”, which is scheduled to start airing on July 4, 2024.

The TV anime “Gimai Seikatsu” is based on a light novel by Mikawa Gosuto, which has sold over 600,000 copies in total.

Yuuta and Saki have a cold view of family due to their parents’ divorce, but when their parents remarry, they end up living under the same roof as step-siblings of the same age. This is a daily drama in which the relationship between them gradually deepens as they live together.

fhána Comment

Thank you for allowing me to perform the opening theme song for the TV anime “Gimai Seikatsu.”

“Song of the Angels” was carefully crafted with the aim of being a song that would blend quietly into the world of “Gimai Seikatsu” and into the lives of all who listen to it. The song is filled with the casual and precious relationships we have with family, friends, lovers, and those around us, as well as the miracles and hope that come in unexpected moments in our daily lives. I hope it will become a song that touches the hearts of each and every person. (fhána)

In addition, this song will be released as a digital single on Thursday, July 4th, the same day the anime first airs.
