Kadomatsu Miyuki’s sixth single “Imo Imo Yokohama” will be released on Wednesday, July 24th. New visuals have been released! A new Kadomatsu Miyuki has started with a modern and sensual miniskirt outfit! A release concert has also been confirmed.

Singer Miyuki Kadomatsu (31), who made her debut with “Michinoku Nostalgia” from Nippon Columbia in 2019, is not only beautiful with her distinctive large eyes and beautiful face, but she also has outstanding singing ability, and won the TV Tokyo show “THE Karaoke Battle” on her first appearance. She is a truly talented and beautiful singer who is active in various fields.
On Wednesday, July 24th, Kadomatsu Miyuki will release her sixth single, “Imo wa Yokohama.” The song depicts a woman who cannot let go of her attachment to a man who left her, and wanders alone through Yokohama, a place of memories, hoping to meet him again. Place names such as “Bashamichi” and “Motomachi” appear on the fast-paced melody, creating a song that also captures the urban atmosphere of Yokohama. The song was composed by Kuniyasu Shuji, who also composed the previous song, “Ai DA・LI・DA.” Kuniyasu is a singer-songwriter whose single “Nee” became a hot topic on cable TV and was a smash hit in 1991-1992. The song fully brings out the new charm of Kadomatsu Miyuki, who is shifting from enka to pop music.
Now, the visuals for “Imo Imo Yokohama” have been released. The photoshoot took place in May at a house studio in Yokohama. The costumes were made to match the jacket photoshoot for “Imo Imo Yokohama”. The trendy tulle is used in various places, and the top that shows off the shoulders and the mini skirt express the sensuality and cuteness of a mature woman. Also, at her own suggestion, the color of her nails was blue and white to match the color of the costume. The visuals bring out the life-size charm of 31-year-old Kadomatsu Miyuki, making it a work that can be enjoyed by the eyes as well. With “Imo Imo Yokohama” marking a new beginning, she is aiming for her sixth year of success.

Comment from Miyuki Kadomatsu
“I was born in Odawara, not in Yokohama, but in the same Kanagawa prefecture, so I’m approaching this production with the feeling that I’m singing a local song. Mr. Kuniyasu has given me a new direction, the pop song Kadomatsu Miyuki. I’m going to try my best. During this shoot, I was able to finish it off really well by exchanging various opinions with a wonderful team that was always laughing. My favorite stylist made my costume. We’re drinking buddies, and while we’re drinking, he secretly finds out what I like and puts it into shape (laughs). I want to deliver “Imo yokohama,” which is filled with the thoughts of all the staff, from the song to the visuals, to many people.”
