Makita Sports x Shimazu Aya Makita Sports will be welcoming Shimazu Aya as guest to a special live show filled with laughter and music!

Makita Sports, a comedian, actor, and musician who is active in a wide range of fields, will hold a live event at Cotton Club in Tokyo on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

“LIVE@Makita Sports” is a famous live series that features a variety of guests and a stage centered on Makita’s “Otonega.” Since 2010, the venue has been moved to Cotton Club, and guests have included Ichinosuke Shunputei and Michiko Shimizu.

This time, we will be welcoming the “singing monster” Shimazu Aya. Since her debut at the age of 15, Shimazu Aya has led the enka world with her natural, lustrous and powerful voice and outstanding singing ability. Enjoy this supreme entertainment show by Makita Sports, who coined the term “singing monster,” and Shimazu Aya, who has broken new ground with her album “AYA’s Soul Searchin’ -Aretha Franklin-” under the name Aya Shimazu.
