An album that compiles the singing voice of the young Koshiji Fubuki has been released. It also includes precious narration recordings!


To celebrate the 100th anniversary of her birth, the album “Koshiji Fubuki Early Song Collection 1949-1957”, which features works recorded by Koshiji Fubuki in her 20s and 30s, will be released today on CD and digitally.

The album will feature 37 songs in total, including recordings from his time as a top star of Takarazuka’s Hanagumi troupe, such as his record debut song “Boogie Woogie Paris” released in 1949, as well as “Rafting” and “Morgan Oyuki,” the first recording of “Ai no Sanka” released in 1954, which became his signature song with lyrics translated by the famous manager and lyricist Tokiko Iwatani, “Begin the Beguine,” “C’est si bon,” and “Hana Matsuri.”
As a bonus track, this release includes a rare narration recording from a promotional disc that was played in record stores at the time. In it, she talks about her enthusiasm for setting off on a new path after leaving the Takarazuka Revue in 1951.
