The artists participating in the second collaborative song included in NakamuraEmi’s seventh major original album “KICKS” to be released on May 29th (Wednesday) have a unique natural voice that sounds like it’s coming from a needle spinning on vinyl. The unit MASSAN x BASHIRY consists of vocalist and rapper MASSAN with an outstanding flow, and guitarist BASHIRY who uses his whole body to stir the melody of rough strings mixed with sand and a sense of melancholy that emanates from the venue. It was announced that she is XinU, a singer-songwriter with a voice that has an overwhelming presence.
Both artists participate in “Hello Hello,” which is included in the 8th track of the album “KICKS.”
The event “Geishun” held in January 2019 at the live house Daikanyama LOOP, which is currently closed, will be revived at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA’ for the first time in four years in January 2023, and at that time MASSAN’s call The song is based on the song “(Kari) Yingshun” which was created from scratch by Emi Nakamura, guitarist and producer Hiroshi Kawamura, and MASSAN x BASHIRY for an event.
In addition to Emi Nakamura and MASSAN×BASHIRY, XinU will also appear at the event held again in 2024. XinU’s lyrics and vocals were added to “(Kari) Yingchun,” and the three artists unveiled a collaboration suitable for welcoming the new year.
And in conjunction with the release of “KICKS,” a new sound source has been released with the title “Hello Hello.” NakamuraEmi, who has been active in live performances in recent years, collaborated with friends she met at events to further elevate her on-stage performance, creating a song full of joy and momentum.
Last week, it was announced that Sarasa and Kazuyo Izawa would be collaborating on the album’s first song, “Yukimo”, and a third collaboration has already been announced. I hope people are even more excited to see who the other remaining artist is.
Furthermore, it has been decided that the annual Tanabata live performance “Tanabata wa Kokode.” will be held again this year.
As Tanabata Live celebrates its 10th anniversary, this year it will be held at the Cotton Club over two days, July 6th (Saturday) and July 7th (Sunday).
On July 6th, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his debut, a three-person lineup will be held with producer Hiroshi Kawamura (guitar) and Mio (music vocalist), and on July 7th, Hiroshi Kawamura (guitar) and Tadashi Uchida of Half time Old will perform. Shun (b), Jizue’s Kie Katagi (p), and Yuichi Fukaya (ds), who supports Super Tozan Club and Nakamura Kaho BAND, will be on stage.
“KICKS” is currently accepting reservations at various CD shops.

There are “tides” in the ocean where different currents collide, and the various fish and plankton on the ocean floor that normally live in each tide mix and move up and down and left and right. . As an ecosystem, it is chaotic, but as a natural world, it is very rich.
MASSAN x BASHIRY, whose unique world view made me a fan when I saw their live for the first time, XinU, whose ears and eyes were instantly roused when I was staring blankly at Instagram, and who I would be if I hadn’t met them. Hiroshi Kawamura, the producer who is not here now. The five people, who grew up in different towns and from different generations, came together all at once at an event called “Welcoming Spring,” and everyone’s breathing created a perfect atmosphere.
Let’s survive even in the turbulent times of the coronavirus, diversity, etc., and it would be great if we could all come together here and say “Hello!!” even if we’re all crumpled up. It’s a treasure to be able to create this song with such friends.

Emi Nakamura’s filtered music is both sharp and gentle.
We are very close in terms of feeling like brothers, but we grew up completely different.

The songwriting process progressed at the speed of light, and releasing it was a secondary concern.
It may be a legend now that it was performed live in just a few days.
“(Kari) Greeting Spring” will be performed for the first time at Club Citta right after the start of 2023, the following year.

This is XinU. We performed live together, and the production progressed at once with that momentum. There were three groups recording at the same time. It was also my first experience to jump into a finished song after it was finished. I want to continue to take on challenges even though I don’t know what tomorrow will bring! I wrote the lyrics based on my current feelings. I also made new discoveries about myself that I didn’t find in XinU’s works. Please listen and feel the power!
