Donated donations received from customers during the Stardust Revue tour to three cities and towns in Oku-Noto. Also performed an a cappella live show in Suzu City.

On August 1st, Stardust Revue donated 12 million yen to the towns of Noto, Wajima, and Suzu, which were hit by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.

Following the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on New Year’s Day this year, during the national tour that was running until May

The donations that had been received from customers and those from members were combined and delivered directly to the mayors of Noto Town, Wajima City, and Suzu City, totalling 4 million yen each.

In Suzu City, they also performed a mini a cappella concert at the Suzu City Social Welfare Council, which serves as the volunteer base.

This mini-live, which was only possible because Stardust Revue is a band that has also released an a cappella album, featured performances of their own signature songs such as “Amazing Grace,” “Just Tonight,” “Sukiyaki,” “Fushigi na Chi-ka-ra,” “Mulan no Namida,” and “Furusato,” as well as classic Western and Japanese songs.

While encouraging the disaster victims and volunteers who had gathered at the venue, leader Nemoto Kaname delivered his usual humorous MC speech, saying, “I think music makes people dream.

“I think there are songs that comfort you when you’re feeling down, or give you a push when you want to do your best. I’d be happy if music can cheer you up or help you relax.”
