Two POiSON GiRL FRiEND albums from the 1990s to be reissued on cassette

POiSON GiRL FRiEND, whose unique musical style that fuses ambient techno/trip hop with French pop and her coquettish whispering voice are being re-evaluated in the US, UK and other parts of the world. She has also announced a North American tour with 10 shows from October to November, and it has been decided that two of her albums from her time with Nippon Columbia will be released on cassette.
Their first full-length album, “SHYNESS,” released in 1993, was produced by Momus and featured Simon Turner and Louis Philippe.
Her second full album, “LOVE ME,” released in 1994, was self-produced and strongly reflected her own artistic color, and included a cover of Michel Polnareff’s “LOVE ME, PLEASE LOVE ME.”
