Artist Inui’s “Flavor tea” has been released by Nippon Columbia’s new talent discovery project, “Filter Project.”
A self-producing singer-songwriter who writes the lyrics, composes the music, and arranges the songs himself, keeps his real face secret, and mainly works on social media.
Although she only just started her activities in 2024, the number of followers on various SNS is steadily increasing, and she is a new artist who is expected to become even more active in the future. With a lo-fi sound as the core, she sings a wide range of songs from POP to ballads with a chill and emotional atmosphere.
The new song “Flavor tea” is the second release from Filter Project, following “Haru”. Inui said about the new song, “The theme is ‘lingering summer heat’. It’s a love poem that spells out the ennui, floating feeling, and sentimentality of thinking over and over again about the feelings and thoughts that you couldn’t put into words one day, and the people you missed, as the seasons repeat.” Please be sure to give it a listen on any distribution site.

A project that aims to discover new talent with the aim of creating digital hits and to implement promotions that are not bound by conventional wisdom.
The word “Filter” is also used to mean “to filter something” or to add search conditions. The name was chosen with the desire to “find the raw diamonds of high-quality music and hits” from the entertainment scene, which is overflowing with various granularities (contents and artists).
