The new generation male singing unit DATE PLAN, which was born from an audition held by popular illustrator Takehana Note and Nippon Columbia, has finally released their major label debut single “Date Plan” today, Wednesday September 4th.
This song is about the heartbreak of a man who longs for his beloved despite being hurt by his unfulfilled wish, and the danceable sound of the electro-swing creates a contrasting charm with the delicate lyrics. In addition, the individuality of Noun and Shirley’s voices is fully demonstrated, making this a song that is truly fitting for the unit’s start.
Toiki, who wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and arranged the song, provided the following comment regarding the release of this song:

After having a conversation, I imagined their relationship and their feelings in my own way and tried to express them in the song.
