Machico “Special Live in KURE -Triumph-” Day2 Report

Machico, a voice actor and artist from Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, held a live performance on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at Shin Nippon Zoki Hall (Kure Civic Hall) in Hiroshima.

This triumphant return live was held over two days. Thousands of fans packed the venue to watch her decorate her hometown.

We will report on the performance on DAY2, May 5th (Sunday).

After a special movie created based on the digest video of the MusicVideo released so far was played, Machico appeared following the band members!

As red and blue penlights intertwined in the audience seats, they began by singing “Fantastic Dreamer” as a greeting. She opened with the number that marked the last encore the day before, and the audience responded to her all-out performance by jumping at the chorus.

During the mid-tempo number “1miri Symphony,” the audience was asked to clap slowly,

“POPPING NOW” was performed with the music video shot in Kure City in the background. She claps happily and sings with a smile.

In the first MC, Machico expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you everyone for posting pictures of yourself enjoying Kure on SNS!”

“It looks like rain is forecast for tomorrow. I’m glad it’s sunny both days! Thanks to me, we’re able to enjoy sightseeing with ease (lol)!” he said with a smug look on his face, making the audience laugh.

He declared, “I’ll sing a lot in the next block!” and then, while pumping his fist, he performed “Korekara”, “Imitate my movements and try dancing!”, and “Guru Guru Continue”. Once again, Machico clap rhythmically and have fun with his fans.

Instead, she sang “STAY FREE” in a powerful voice while staring straight ahead with a serious gaze, and then gently performed “Kaon”, a “daily song,” while placing her hands on her chest to the gentle piano melody.

During the MC, he mentioned “Kanon” that was performed earlier.

“I have come to this day while walking with the works and characters.When I write lyrics, I usually try to write sparkling lyrics, but for this song, I put my negative feelings into the lyrics.” .

“I’m glad that people know me from my various works! By the way, I don’t think that my fan rank increases just because I’ve been a fan for a long time. I’m grateful for your continued support! However, I would like to tell those who have recently gotten to know me that my fans are all kind people, so I hope they will continue to support me in an easy-going way. ” said Machico with a smile.

“It ended up being like an encore greeting (lol), but this song makes me sentimental that much.I’m glad I got to sing it in Kure!”, concluded the MC.

The concept of this triumphant return live was to introduce ourselves to Machico, who has been active for 11 years.

“It’s been 10 years since I started my career as a singer and voice actor, and I’ve had many encounters.I’ve included songs that I wasn’t able to sing at my triumphant return live two years ago! (Live goods)[Light up the electric stick!]Please light it colorfully!”, she shouted, and in front of the colorfully decorated audience seats, she enthusiastically sang the solo version of “For “F”, the opening theme song for “Pretty Cure All Stars F”, with her hands outstretched.

Here, the local character “Mr. Kure”, who was created to thoroughly promote Kure City, appeared on stage, and the “Pretty Cure theme song medley” began!

First of all, while taking light steps, “Miracle ♥ Link Ring!” ”, along with the wave dance “Viva! Spark! Tropical~ju!” PreCure” and “Cheers!” with the music video also shot in Kure City as the background. Delicious Party ♡ Precure” was sung. Mr. Wu’s stunning dance performance also added to the excitement.

Even if “Mr. Wu” leaves the stage, the stage will still continue. In front of the red-stained audience, he sang “IGNITION” with a powerful voice, and continued with the insert song “World Is Mine!” from “Osama Sentai King Auger” with a huge smile, and when he finished the[Nichiasa]block. , the last two songs are already in the live performance.

While asking the audience, “Are you ready to make your voice heard?!”, they united in chants of “WOW WOW WOW” during “Zeal”. Then, “Next is the last one! Please play as much as you can!” and the last number was “TOMORROW”. The excitement in the venue was at its peak as they performed with brilliant steps!

The encore was greeted with a “Machico” call. She appeared in a bold costume, wearing a T-shirt as a skirt!

They sang “Brand New Theater!” (the theme song for the app game “THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! THEATER DAYS”) while enjoying the call and response while the yellow “electric rod” lit up. At the end, he showed his best V sign.

The app game “Magia Record Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden” shows even more comical movements.

Yuki Fuminosa’s character song “Kokuhou High End” was performed for the first time.

The MC provided explanations about the two songs they performed.

Machico said that he had proposed that he would like to sing a cover of a character song as a project to celebrate his 10th anniversary as a voice actor.

“Because I’m greedy (lol), I was allowed to sing one song from “THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!” each day. (She sang “Thank you!” on DAY1) Also, she sang “Kokuho High End” for the first time, hoping to bring out Sayuki’s individuality, so she did her best! ” she said with a smile.

Additionally, on DAY1, Kazamatsuri Megu’s character song “Let’s go ahead” from the anime “Futo Detective” will be performed for the first time. It has become a “10th anniversary project for voice actors’ debut” specializing in surprises.

The live show really only leaves the last two songs.

“I’m really happy that so many people came to support me! Also, the people of Kure City put up posters in various places, and at Clayton Bay Hotel, where I serve as an ambassador, I gave them accommodation plans and original menus. Thank you for coming up with the idea.

My parents, friends, and even my teachers from school are here today. It feels very strange to make such a triumphant return.

I’m really happy that so many people know about me and that I’m able to enjoy my activities like this. I will continue to do my best to convey my singing voice in various works! ”

Here,[Machico]’s debut song “Magical Happy Show!” ” was sung. He performed a light jump and introduced the band members.

The last number presented with Mr. Wu is “Growing Up,” the opening theme for the currently airing TV anime “Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 3.” Along with their sharp dance moves, they used the stage to their fullest and showed off their best. At the end, he gave a thumbs up sign and finished singing the entire song.

Following on from the previous day’s performance, Machico makes a gesture of turning a blind eye to “Mr. Wu” (lol). At the end, he asked, “If you don’t mind, please hold hands with your neighbors!” He joined hands with the band members and shouted “Yay!” to loud applause.

At this point, he said, “Yes, I have to sing this song at the end…” and performed the commercial song for “Drugstore Wants,” which is mainly in the Chugoku region. Showing his strong love for his hometown until the end, he made a fox with his hands and, together with the fans, ended the stage with the customary chant of “Sarabada!”
