Bye-Bye-Hand’s final performance fully showcased the results of the largest tour in the history of the equation.

Bye-Bye-Hand’s equation released their 1st full album “Soft Vinyl Human Tour” on May 22nd of this year, and embarked on a nationwide tour “Soft Vinyl Human Tour” from June 28th. The tour will feature two bands as guests from June to August, touring around the country, and then a two-man Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka tour titled “FINAL SERIES” will begin in September. Bye-Bye-Hand It was the longest tour in Equation’s history (16 performances in total). It’s hard to imagine that the members of the Bye-Bye-Hand equation were able to receive a lot of inspiration and gain a lot from the tour, due to the large number of live performances and the opportunity to share the stage with many other bands. do not have.

The final gig of the was held at Tokyo Spotify O-Crest on September 29th. The performance was held by inviting UNFAIR RULE, consisting of Tamaha Yamamoto (Gt/Vo) and Takashi Sugita (Dr.). As if to show that this tour was a fulfilling one, many listeners gathered on Spotify O-Crest, and the live performance was filled with excitement.

UNFAIR RULE, who took the stage before performing the Bye-Bye-Hand equation, opened with “if,” which transitioned from a lyrical first half to an intense second half, followed by the punkish “lie” and ” It started with a continuous flow of “Idiot Itai”. It can be said that they were able to capture the hearts of the audience at once with their dramatic live composition, powerful and emotional vocals, raw sound, and physical staging.

After that, songs such as the melodious “Last Song”, “Osaka” featuring emotional vocals, and “Uta” filled with sadness were delivered. Their ability to make each song resonate strongly is truly impressive, with arrangements that take advantage of the contrast between “tranquility and intensity,” flexible vocals that change their expression depending on the song, and drums that shine with exquisite dynamics. The three-dimensional sound that belies the minimal composition of a trio with a support bassist was also appealing, and I couldn’t help but be deeply drawn to it.

In the second half of the live performance, Yamamoto enthusiastically said, “The only place I can live is here at the live house!” with the song “Ambiguity” that emphasizes the duality of a delicate introduction and a powerful second half, and a powerfully rushing sound. Play the “delinquent girl” who talks. After tapping into the various emotions of the audience, the flow became intense and the venue was filled with excitement.

UNFAIR RULE can be said to be an extremely attractive band, with their outstanding skills in building a deep worldview with a simple lineup of members, and their explosive power that makes them look great live. With the release of their 1st full album “Hitorigoto” on October 16th, it was a stage performance that gave us a feeling that they will scale up further in the future.

After a short interval after UNFAIR RULE’s live performance, “#1090 ~Million Dreams~” (Takahiro Matsumoto) was played as the opening sound effect in the darkened venue, and Bye-Bye-Hand appeared on stage. Cheers and applause erupted from the audience, and the high-tension and refreshing song “Love Doll” started, followed by the punkish songs “swamp” and “Kazamachi Toppu Club.”

Shiota stands in the center of the stage, strumming his guitar and singing passionately. Iwahashi weaves a physical staging from the opening, with solid backing and a hot guitar solo. Kiyohiro has an attractive combination of a bright smile and a deep bass sound that gives off a sense of drive. Nakamura leads the band’s groove with his powerful and sure drumming. The audience’s voltage steadily increased as each of the four members displayed their individuality in active scenes and a series of exhilarating sounds.

“Once again, this is the Bye-Bye-Hand equation. Thank you! This is the tour final, thank you! We made 16 rounds safely and were able to arrive at Shibuya O-Crest. Thank you so much!” After Shiota’s MC, the second block played songs such as “Senkou Delivery”, “Daring Rolling”, and “Soft Vinyl Ningen”. As soon as the live performance begins, they show an enthusiastic performance that reminds you of the end of the live performance, and their live performances that continue for a long time are truly captivating. I was also overwhelmed by how tight the sound was, even though all the members were performing with all their might.

While the venue was in a good mood from start to finish, an incident occurred during “Youyan-san” where the bass sound stopped coming out. It was amazing that all the members, including Kiyohiro himself, did not panic in the slightest and connected the whole thing with a peaceful MC.The moment the bass sound started coming out, he said, “Okay, let’s add one more song!” and “Tropical Night.” I was surprised that they played “Pleasure Boat” and had the audience go “bish!” when they heard it. Through this , I could feel that the Bye-Bye-Hand equation has become even more robust.

In the middle of the live performance, they performed “Tahikami Sama” featuring Iwahashi’s thrilling guitar solo and Nakamura’s slap bass, “Sweet Memories” full of warmth, and “Spring Feeling” with a mix of gorgeousness and sadness. They delivered messages such as “Spring Chance,” which was skillfully expressed. It is truly admirable to listen to these numbers while performing a live performance that exudes explosive power. It was impressive to see him captivate the audience with his “emotional Bye-Bye-Hand equation” rather than just a change of pace during a live performance.

“There are times when one person’s one-sided justice may turn out to be bad or mean to someone else, but I have friends who are just there for me, who just look me in the eye, and just listen to me. I’m going to sing today as well, hoping to wrap everyone in music, like someone who can’t be described as a precious lover, family, or someone like that.”The warm “kind person” that was delivered with Shiota’s words. After that, the live show moved on to the second half. Shifting to powerful mode again, the punkish and catchy songs “midnight parade” and “rock’n’roll supernova” were played. The audience reacted with enthusiasm and a sense of unity to the members performing with all their heart and soul without losing any power until the final stage, and to the uplifting sound, the venue of Spotify O-Crest was suitable for the final stage of a long tour. There was a huge uproar.

The Bye-Bye-Hand formula held their longest tour ever, and concluded the tour with a high-quality live show that fully demonstrated what they had learned. Their concerts, which express the feeling of “Let’s all have fun together!”, are full of comfort, and it is noteworthy that they have further refined their expressiveness as a band and the way they carry out their live performances. I can say that. After experiencing this live show, I was convinced that the “Bye-Bye-Hand equation can create this kind of space even in larger venues,” so I will be paying close attention to their future trends. I think so.
