Vo.Key. Ayako Kamegai and Dr. Kawamura’s pop song Shinanaide, which advocates “lightly singing about impermanence” and is known for its literary lyrics and rich musicality, is today holding a one-man tour “24 hour yankee”. On the opening day of “people” at Shangri-la in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, they announced that they would be holding their annual Christmas project “NUKEANA.”
Every year during the Christmas season, Pop Shinanai holds a live event at Shimokitazawa BASEMENT BAR in Tokyo to end the year, and this year it will be held on Christmas Eve. Each time, the event title is a word that the members come up with, and this year it was “NUKEANA.”
Pop Shinanai is currently holding a one-man tour called “24 Hour Yankee People” with three performances nationwide in support of the mini-album “Hatsugatsu no Gunsou” released in September. The finals will be held this weekend at Shinei Shangri-la in Aichi on October 19th (Saturday) and at Umeda Shangri-la in Osaka on October 20th (Sunday).

Formed in 2015, Vo.Key. Ayako Kamegai and Dr. Kawamura sing a light pop song about impermanence.
With Kawamura’s somewhat lonely but positive lyrical world and Kamegai’s expressive, quirky and attractive vocals, it has a minimal composition but a perfect musicality. Their music videos that follow their unique music philosophy and their live performances that recreate their world view with their solid expressiveness are becoming a hot topic.
