Nippon Columbia's new generation label "@LABEL1.99 (Label Ichikyukyu)" launch First artist HIPHOP world's Cinderella girl #KTCHAN makes major debut!

Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yoshitaka Domon, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) has launched a new generation label @LABEL1.99 (Yomi: Label Ichikyukyu), and as the first artist, We are pleased to announce that Rapper/Artist #KTCHAN will make his major debut with the digital single “Distance Girl” on January 13, 2025.

New generation label @LABEL1.99 is not bound by a specific genre, with the slogan “Maximize your individuality”.

We have launched this as a new label of our company in order to pursue the management and digital release of new generation artists suitable for the Reiwa era.

#KTCHAN is a Rapper/Artist who is only 20 years old. Starting with the 2022 High School RAP Championship, he quickly rose to prominence with freestyle RAP such as Sengoku MABATTLE, and was selected for the Yahoo! Search Award Next Break category, leading to a new generation. She is the representative Cinderella girl of the HIPHOP world.

Her major debut single “Distance Girl” uses #KTCHAN style EMO-HIPHOP to express the feelings of a girl who, in order to play the “ideal girl” of the boy she likes, wants to distance herself from him in order to prevent his true nature from being revealed. It creates a cool and cute worldview.

Rapper/Artist. Born in Yokohama in 2004. Freestyle debut at the High School RAP Championship in July 2022. Their unique emotional RAP style called “KT Theater” and “RAP that doesn’t directly diss” quickly gained attention, and they expanded into media other than HIPHOP, including terrestrial broadcasting. The number of views on YouTube of MCBATTLE, which appeared on the show, has exceeded 1 million views across the board, and many of them have entered the YouTube trending/X trend. Won the Sengoku MCBATTLE Newcomer Award that year. He also competed on the Ryogoku Kokugikan stage at the fastest time in history, making his freestyle debut only 8 months later. June 2024: First female to advance to the top four of Sengoku MCBATTLE.
