Nekry Talkie held a Tokyo performance of their band project “Okey Talkie vol.6” at SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO in Tokyo on December 8th (Sunday).
“Okey Talkie” is a band-to-band project by Nekry Talkie, and the 6th edition, the first in two years since 2022, is the Tokyo-Meihan Quattro Tour with the theme of “Nice to meet you”, inviting artists who are playing in a band for the first time.
MOSHIMO will be performing at Club Quattro in Umeda, Osaka on Thursday, December 5th, Soushi Sakiyama will be performing at Club Quattro in Nagoya, Aichi on Friday, December 6th, and the final performance will be on Sunday, December 8th. Eriko Hashimoto appeared at the Shibuya Club Quattro performance in Tokyo.
Shibuya Quattro on December 8th sold out tickets immediately.
Eriko Hashimoto appeared alone in front of the packed floor, gave a short greeting, and then began to sing “Jeshuu” with ease, and the venue immediately became one with hand claps. While Hashimoto played lightly on the acoustic guitar, support members Takumi Sone (Gt), Shige Murata (Bas), and Aiko Kitano (Drums) joined in, capturing the hearts of fans with their marching band sound.
Hashimoto switched his guitar to a Telecaster and performed “Looking for the Treasure,” which has an impressive repeated guitar riff, and “Hito Hitori,” a groovy and psychedelic medium number. I’m very happy to be able to perform in Shibuya on such a nice day. Thank you very much,” he said, expressing his gratitude to the packed floor of Nekry Talkie, and carefully introducing the band members one by one. As soon as Kitano is introduced, a cheerful drum phrase flows into “Kaerenai”.
The number had an impressive rough guitar sound, and captivated the audience by showcasing Sone’s guitar solo, Murata’s roaring bass, and Hashimoto’s cutting.
Next, they sang “Fall of the Leaf,” which evokes a quiet scene, and then took a turn for “Rose Metallic Era,” which overwhelmed the floor with distorted twin guitars and macho performance. The progressive instrumental track “Take Off” featured a roaring band ensemble, and the venue was filled with loud applause.
In the MC that followed, he said, “He’s been inviting me to his concert for a long time,” which drew laughter from the audience, and “I heard from the wind that I really like the vocalist Mossa-chan and have been listening to him. As I was listening, I thought that I would have to say thank you someday, but I think it was the best thing to be invited to the live performance and to be able to do it with you.” He expressed his joy at making this day possible safely to his fans. I told you. He and Murata (bass) talked about how they regularly heard loud laughter coming from Nekry Talkie’s dressing room, saying, “Nekry Talkie is really good friends. We definitely had pizza parties (lol).” The venue, packed with Nekry Talkie fans, was filled with a cheerful atmosphere.
In the final block, “Let’s do it”, the audience sings a rock tune “Kyo ga Infinity” that sings about their feelings toward music, and “I am a pilot”, where the venue dances lightly to the rhythm, captivating on a grand scale. They climaxed with “One of Them” and left the stage.
After receiving the baton from Hashimoto, Nekry Talkie appeared on stage and performed “Chogunyagunya” from their latest album “TORCH”. Asahi (Gt) shouted from the stand, and in response, the audience raised their fists high and the packed venue went into full voltage.
Next, they performed one of their signature songs, “Kitakami Susume,” and the chaotic “Pon Poko Bushi,” and Mossa (Vo/Gt) and the audience chanted, “You’re as bossy as anyone can be,” which was a unique song. Even one act. As the MC, Wasa thanked the fans and Eriko Hashimoto for coming over, and in a low voice, she whispered, “I’m so happy,” and shared her joy at being able to have this special night with the fans.
For this “Okey Talkie vol.6″, we have created a set list of songs that we would like to hear from artists from various regions, and on this day, we have prepared a set list that we would like to deliver to Eriko Mossa Hashimoto. In the second block, they performed “Today is Curry Day”, a mellow song, and “Abekobe”, which exploded with emotion. Next, with Hashimoto watching on stage, they performed a cover of Hashimoto’s “Hotel Pacific” with a pleasant sense of tension.
In the following MC, Ossa said, “I thought it was really good.I’ve been following him ever since he went solo…I’m really happy today.I’m very grateful that he continues to release music as a solo artist.” Even more so…” Her passionate feelings for Hashimoto continued to overflow, and smiles spilled out from the audience.
Asahi said, “I’m so happy that someone who is a beacon of alternative music and who plays such a guitar is playing in a rock band,” and “It’s a really great day,” Mo said, his voice shaking with emotion. I told her, “Your voice is shaking, so why don’t you share the song with Fujita?” and just like that, Fujita (bass) went into “I want an unbreakable heart,” which had a lot of fun.
The ending theme song for “Ninety-Nine’s All Night Nippon” that followed, “Ashi ni Dette”, drew loud cheers the moment Mossa started singing. After that, he performed a new song that he had recently created that he wanted people to listen to live before it was distributed. Nekrai Talkie delivered a middle number that shines through its languid singing, the soothing drumbeat played by Kazuma Takei (Dr.), and the light keyboard melody played by Ikuka Nakamura (Key).
“Can I tell you why you decided to invite (Eriko Hashimoto)?” Mossa asked, and there was a big round of applause from the audience. “I’ve always thought that it would be great if I could support you from afar, but at this moment in 2024, Mr. Hashimoto will be making music, we’ll be doing it, and we’ll be living healthy lives.” It’s not obvious at all…If you keep thinking about something you want to do someday, you wonder when that “someday” will be.” “I’m a big crybaby. , I thought I wouldn’t be able to compete with the band like this. But when we did the “TORCH” tour (held from May to July 2024), I felt like I had grown a little bit, about 3 mm. I felt like…I thought I could play with a band as a band member,” he said, checking each word as he conveyed his thoughts. “That’s why I can’t cry at this live show,” he said, smiling loudly and closing his tear ducts, which seemed to be loosening midway through, before heading into the final block at full throttle.
After delivering the theme song “bloom” from the Netflix series “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”, the excitement of the venue was at its peak with the chorus of “Quatro he hei hei!” during the following “Oshare Daisakusen”.
“Thank you very much for today. It’s an important day. Thank you for today!” Mossa expressed his gratitude and finished singing “Ishikoro no Kochi” and left the stage with a big smile on his face without shedding a single tear.
Nekry Talkie, who reappeared amid endless applause, announced that they will hold a one-man show to commemorate their 5th anniversary since their major debut on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Shimokitazawa ERA in Tokyo. The venue was filled with excitement.
Afterwards, in the MC, he talked about an episode from his early college days, saying, “When I was in college, I was in a crazy Chatmonchy copy band.” The last song I sang at my graduation live was Chatmonchy’s “Yuhi Sorrow Fusha,” but I cried at the time when I heard the lyrics, “My loved ones, please watch over me, I’ll do my best, be myself, be myself, find my dream, and walk.” He said that he was unable to sing because of his parents, and that he still cherishes that theory when he plays in a band.
“We can’t give up any energy, because this is Nekry Talkie’s last independent project of the year,” he said as he delivered “Rainy Rainy” and “Howling Sunset,” giving it his all and leaving the encore stage.
However, the endless applause called them back for an unexpected double encore.
They ended the day’s live with the song “Taifu!”, which they delivered in response to a request from the venue, and got the venue excited.
This is the end of “Okey Talkie vol.6”, which was held under the theme of 3 “Nice to meet you”.
Nekry Talkie showed that they have grown even stronger and more robust as a rock band, and the night made us look forward to their further success in the future.
Advance tickets for the PG lottery for the 5th anniversary commemorative major debut performance, which is sure to be a hot ticket, will be accepted from 20:00 on December 16th (Monday) to 23:59 on December 19th (Thursday). Fans should come out to celebrate.

Formed in 2017 by Asahi, Mossa, Fujita, and Kazuma Takei.
In March 2019, Ikuka Nakamura officially joined the group, making it the current five-member group.
Mossa’s singing voice that instantly catches the listener’s ears, the cynical world of lyrics depicted by Asahi, and the complex melody filled with love for music are addictive, and have become a hot topic not only in the band scene but in many other fields. There is.
