Win Morisaki has decided to release a cover album of “film music” that has been desired to be made into a sound source! Also, a live performance with a quartet formation has been decided!

It has been decided that Win Morisaki will release a cover album “Win’s Film Songs” focusing on film music on February 19th (Wednesday).

Speaking of movies, not only his appearance as an actor, but also his impressive debut as a film director, winning the Grand Prix “George Lucas Award” at the “Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024” are still fresh in our memories. As an artist, in addition to his own live performances, he has collaborated with orchestras, performed on stage, and sung on TV programs many times over the years, and he has received many requests for the songs he has performed to be made into audio sources. The release of this work has been decided. This work focuses on movie theme songs that have been sung on stage and on TV, as well as a number of famous Western songs, while paying respect to simple arrangements such as strings and piano, band sounds, and modern digital sounds and songs. The song was arranged and produced in a way that conveys Morisaki Win’s uniqueness and high singing ability, and the result is a work that will bring new encounters to both those who know the original song and those who are listening to it for the first time.

The CD includes an application ticket with a serial number that allows you to participate in the autograph session to be held next April, so be sure to check it out.

It has also been decided that “MORISAKI WIN Classic Concert ~Warmth Of Wood~” will be held at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in Tokyo on Friday, April 25th. In this performance, a quartet consisting of piano and strings will perform not only original songs but also songs from cover albums. Advance tickets for the performance will be available from fan clubs starting today.
