Stardust Revue completes 110-performance tour spanning 1 year and 7 months on the 43rd anniversary of their debut

Stardust Revue will embark on a 1 year and 7 month long tour on May 25th, the 43rd anniversary of their debut.
The final performance of the 110-performance “Stardust Revue Tour 2022-24 Boogie Woogie Wonder Revue” was held at the Kenshin Koriyama Cultural Center in Fukushima Prefecture.

The tour will begin in Zama, Kanagawa Prefecture on October 22, 2022 and run until Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture on May 25, 2024.
The tour will consist of a hall tour, a summer outdoor tour, an acoustic tour, and other separate tours.
The tour, which could truly be described as a matryoshka doll, featured 110 performances and an audience of 170,000.

This day, which was the final day of the tour, was chosen as the tour’s finale, as the Koriyama performance scheduled for 2022 as part of their previous tour, “Nenchuu Mogaku,” had been canceled due to the earthquake, making this a typical Stardust Revue move.
Vocalist and guitarist Nemoto Kaname said, “Without these people, 40 years of Stardust Revue would have been a dream come true. I am truly grateful.
You are the backing chorus and dancers for Stardust Revue!!” she said, sending a passionate message to the audience, who responded with thunderous applause and cheers.

After the encore, the staff and event organizers who had supported the tour were invited onto the stage to be introduced, and a message and video from VOH percussionist Hayashi, who is currently recovering from an illness, was projected onto the vision, which elicited excitement in the venue.
Furthermore, VOH Hayashi himself appeared on stage as a surprise. The members and the audience, who had not heard this, were in an uproar, and welcomed VOH Hayashi with thunderous cheers.
At the end, everyone in the venue ended the performance by singing “We are STARDUST REVUE!!!”

Although the tour started during the COVID-19 pandemic, they toured the country with a set list that changed 10 songs each day, making it enjoyable to watch no matter how many times you watch it. Towards the end of the tour, the audience in the venues were singing along, and the tour, which was full of laughter and freedom, came to a successful close, but Stardust Revue, Japan’s leading traveling band in both name and reality, is still going strong as they head towards their 45th and 50th anniversaries.
