IVVY starts pre-release of "Runners", a song written by 7ORDER's Sanada Yuma! & music video released!

Artist IVVY will release his first CD release since transferring labels, the EP “ARROWS”, on July 10th (Wednesday) through Nippon Columbia. Ahead of the CD release, the lead song “Runners”, the first song provided by 7ORDER’s Sanada Yuma, was released today, May 29th (Wednesday). The music video that will be released at the same time is directed by Sanada himself. Be sure to check out the chemical reaction created by the fusion of IVVY and Sanada, who has attracted attention not only as a music composer but also as a filmmaker with the release of the movie “30S”.

The EP “ARROWS” includes “WHITE SNOW”, “Whatcha Gonna Do”, and “The Way I Am”, which were released as digital singles for three consecutive months from October to December last year, the lead song “Runners” which was released in advance this time, “Raimei – SEVENTH HEAVEN” which has already been performed live, as well as the newly recorded song “You’re My ANGEL”, and a re-recording of the popular song “One love” with the current members, for a total of seven songs. It can be said that this EP is packed with IVVY’s “now”.

IVVY is currently touring various release events. They have recently collaborated with Animoca Brands Japan and Mitsui & Co. to create a new music royalty program called “Oshitra” that utilizes web3, and their unique and innovative approach has been a hot topic. [Comment from 7ORDER’s Yuma Sanada]

I’m Sanada Yuma of 7ORDER, and I wrote the lyrics (with Masaki), composed and arranged this song. This is my first time providing a song, but it turned out to be a wonderful song that I hope many people will listen to. I was surprised when this song was chosen from the several demos I prepared after seeing the live performance, but it turned out to be a song that IVVY had never done before, and I’m glad that it turned out to be this song! I look forward to the seven of you singing it together, each with your own feelings in your heart and cherishing the people around you. Run through it for as long as you can, even if it’s just one second or one minute!

I’m Masaki from IVVY, and I wrote the lyrics in collaboration with Sanada Yuma from 7ORDER! This is the first time I’ve written the lyrics for a song, and after many discussions with Sanada, we’ve created a wonderful song unlike anything IVVY has done before! It’s a straightforward song packed with my feelings, Sanada’s feelings, and the feelings of all the members. I want to move forward even more with “Runners”! I hope our feelings reach as many people as possible.

[IVVY PROFILE / BIOGRAPHY]
A dance and vocal group formed in September 2015 by leader HIROTO and five other members: YU-TA, TOSHIKI, KENTO.i, and TAIYU.
In 2018, he made his major debut under Victor Entertainment.
All of the works released so far have made it into the Oricon Top 10 and are still breaking records.
In December 2021, member TOSHIKI decided to graduate in order to focus on his activities as an actor under the name “Tateishi Toshiki.”
The second chapter of the new IVVY will begin in January 2022 with the addition of three new members, MASAKI, TAICHI, and KEY. The new IVVY is made up of seven members with unique personalities and high-spec experience and skills.
