The final tour of “billboard classics Tamaki Koji LEGENDARY SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2024 “Pastorale”” held by Tamaki Koji at Expo Commemoration Park in June last year has been decided to be released as a video and audio work on Wednesday, March 26th. This is the first time that an orchestra performance has been released as a CD.
This performance was a special performance on a nationwide tour with the theme of “love and peace,” and attracted over 10,000 audiences, the largest in the series’ history. For this performance, the Balkan Chamber Orchestra, which was founded with the hope of mutual prosperity on the Balkan Peninsula, visited Japan and under the direction of music director Yanagisawa Toshio, together with the Osaka Symphony Orchestra, played a harmony of hope. From representative songs such as “Denen” and “Melody” to newly arranged songs, the audience is excited by the spectacular sounds unique to an orchestra, and Tamaki also responds to a double encore. We hope you will enjoy this overwhelming song and performance, which is filled with the desire to “love and peace.”
In addition, the concert tour “billboard classics Tamaki Koji LEGENDARY SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2025 “ODE TO JOY”” which marks the 10th anniversary of the series will start on March 2nd. The tour final will be held for the first time, and will be held in 15 cities across the country, including Ishikawa, Yamagata and Kagawa, and will be performing at the Nippon Budokan in collaboration with Otomo Naoto, who also appeared together in the first series in 2015, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tamaki Koji
Born in 1958. A singer-songwriter from Hokkaido. They debuted in 1982 as the band “Safety Zone.” He swept the music scene of the 1980s, including “The Wine Red Heart,” “Predictions of Love,” and “Goodbye to Sadness.” He began writing lyrics as a solo artist, and produced many hits including “Dorano” and “Melody.” In 2012, the original label “SALTMODERATE” was launched. While working in parallel with the safe zone, he released his first original solo album in seven years, “GOLD,” and his album “Gunzo no Hoshi,” which sang famous songs by artists who shared the same era. In 2015 and 2016, Billboard Classics performances were held in collaboration with major domestic and international orchestras. In June 2016, the special Balkan Symphony Orchestra was given a tribute to the orchestra, “Song of Joy.” In 2017, the double anniversary year marked 30th anniversary of his solo debut and 35th anniversary of his safety zone debut, and the live concert held at Nippon Budokan attracted 25,000 people over two days. He also worked tirelessly in 2018 and 2019, including orchestra performances and solo tours. In November 2019, the first stadium live performance in a safe zone in about 30 years, “Safe Zone IN Koshien Stadium Goodbye Game,” attracted 38,000 people, and brought excitement to the audience with their overwhelming vocal skills. In December 2020, they released their first new album, “Chocolate cosmos,” in six years. “Denen” made its first appearance in the 71st NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen in 24 years and performed with the orchestra, and was filled with a passionate touch to the nation. In 2021, the orchestra performance “PREMIUM SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2021 “THE EURASIAN RENAISSANCE “ОТТЕПЕЛЬ”” (6 performances in four cities), followed by the “КАПЕЛЬ” (8 performances in seven cities), which was held in June, sparked huge applause in various places. Starting in September of the same year, the band’s band-formed “Tamaki Koji Concert Tour 2021 Hometown Orchestra ~ Chocolate Cosmos” will be held at 27 venues in 24 cities across the country. In 2022, he celebrated his 35th anniversary of his solo debut and 40th anniversary of his safety zone debut.
