Composer
Born in 1978, from Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
He made his debut at the age of 18 with the original piano solo album “Mado”. Graduated from the Department of Composition at the National College of Music.
Starting with his role in the Kadokawa film “Inugami” while he was in college, he has worked on numerous films, TV dramas, stage plays, musicals, and more.
For the films “64 – Rokuyon – Part 1” and “8 Years of Bride: A Miraculous True Story,” he won the Japan Academy Award for Best Music Award for the second consecutive year, and then won the 45th Japan Academy Award and the third time he received the Best Music Award for Best Music Award for his soundtrack music for “To those who were not protected.” The soundtrack song “Reality” for the Netflix film “In Love and Deep Water” won the top prize in the TOP FILM CUES category at Film Tracks Awards 2023.
Not only is he a music writer, but he has also been active in a wide range of ways, and has also provided many songs such as Takeuchi Mariya’s Song of Life, Josh Groban’s Road to the Future, British boys’ chorus group LIBERA’s “Beyond Light,” and Teshima Aoi’s “Aichima.”
