Composer/Musician. Born in 1991. Born in Osaka.
He engages in a wide range of creative activities across a variety of styles, with themes such as the possibilities of stimulation and perception through dissimilation and deconstruction.
His works range from orchestral and chamber music to sound design using stereophonic sound and theater performances.
After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts Music High School, he graduated at the top of his class from the composition department of the Tokyo University of the Arts. He completed the master’s program majoring in composition.
Recipient of the 25th Akutagawa Composition Award (2015), Yoshio Hasegawa Award (2012), Acanthus Music Award (2013), and winner of the 83rd Japan Music Competition.
His works have been performed numerous times in Japan and abroad by the Orchester de Radio France, the London Sinfonietta, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Izumi Sinfonietta Osaka, the Tokyo Gen-on Project, and the LAPS Ensemble.
