Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO Yoshitaka Domon, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) will be holding the AI-powered creative contest “COLOTEK” at BAROOM and Face Minami Aoyama for two days on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th, 2025.
This first contest will openly recruit creators to produce the AI video “Capsule Movie™︎*” for the song “Party of Monsters” by our artist Hikawa Kiyoshi.
The song “Party of Monsters” by Hikawa Kiyoshi, a signature artist who has been known for his work, was released as the first single after Hikawa Kiyoshi resumed his singing career, and is a techno-like dance tune that will leave you with a strong techno feel to your heart.
This time, we are planning to produce a “Capsule Movie™*” to promote Halloween, which is different from existing music videos.
Furthermore, on Saturday, September 13th, the first day of the contest, a luxurious talk session was held by industry-leading experts. We have invited Sato Koyo, CEO of SpaceData Co., Ltd., which is working on the space business with the aim of “democratizing space,” and Ito Yoshimori, CEO of Toggle Holdings Co., Ltd., a digital infrastructure company that innovates real estate through technology, and we will explore the future of music, video and AI, together with Domon Yoshitaka, president and CEO Theo (Sato Shunsuke), CEO of Faith Co., Ltd., the company’s parent company.
Through this AI-powered creative contest, we will challenge ourselves to unlock new possibilities for the music industry. We look forward to receiving applications from many creators who will create future entertainment.
