[Hometown SONGS – Nursery Songs, School Songs, and Lyric Songs – Listen to the voice of Yamano Satoko]is an album that opens up new ground for Yamano Satoko, who will celebrate its 45th anniversary in September 2025.
He has been active as a number of anime songs and children’s songs singers, including the theme song for his signature song, Doraemon, and has captivated a wide range of generations with his relaxed singing voice. In recent years, he has focused on early childhood education and has been active in childcare seminars, and has gained high popularity in the childcare industry.
This work features Yamano Satoko’s new challenge, and includes songs selected and recorded with “Japanese lyrical songs” and “songs.” In addition, the children’s songs he often sang in his childhood were also selected. This album also includes previously recorded songs that have not been released very often, making it a album that is nostalgic for seniors and can be enjoyed by three generations of parents and children, even among families.

When I was a child, my two aunts who loved music and were kindergarten teachers, I played and sang children’s songs and song records every day. That memory remains vividly to this day.
This time, I was able to try not only nursery rhymes, but also lyrical songs that I had hoped to be able to sing one day. I began recording beautiful Japanese lyrical songs with a honest attitude, just as I felt.
We are truly pleased to be able to release Hometown SONGS as the culmination of our 45th anniversary of our debut.
Also, it feels like I have received an unexpected gift for the reprint of the best anime song BEST&BEST at the same time.
Nursery songs, school songs, lyric songs, and anime songs. All of them are songs that are important to me, and important “children”! I hope it will reach many people’s ears.

Family song singer.
In 1980, he won the grand prize in the theme song contest for “To Earth (Terra)…”, hosted by Columbia Records, and was introduced to “Hii! He has recorded over 1,300 children’s songs and anime songs so far, and his signature songs include the theme song for “Doraemon.”
