Details of the song “You are so amazing,” which was used impressively in the scene where Yuzo goes off to war in the second half of today’s program for the 2024 morning drama “Wings of a Tiger,” have been announced.
The lyrics and composition are by Yuta Mori, who is in charge of the soundtrack, and the song is sung by Stuart Murdoch, the vocalist of the Scottish band “Belle and Sebastian,” which continues to attract neo-acoustic and indie fans around the world. This is the first time that Stewart, who is also the frontman of “Belle Sebastian,” who will also be performing at this year’s SUMMER SONIC 2024, has sung for a Japanese drama.
Yuta Mori’s comments are as follows:
“Belle and Sebastian are a precious band that continues to spread kind, positive music to the world.
When I wrote “You are so amazing” with the aim of creating a song for all women and those who are struggling in life, I suddenly wondered, “Who in the world would I most want to hear sing this song?” and the person that came to mind was Stuart Murdoch.
How wonderful it would be if his voice could capture the sound of someone watching the drama.
I thought it was a dream, but it didn’t work and I sent the song and message anyway.
I received a reply saying, “Could you please send me the sheet music?”
(I didn’t understand at first and was like, “Huh?” but it turned out that he was going to sing!)
While I was trembling with joy and the stylishness of the expression, a remote recording was made possible.
From as far away as Glasgow, they delivered a wonderful performance filled with drama and love of music.
I sincerely hope that this song will resonate with Torako and the story, and reach the hearts of many people!”
“You are so amazing” will be included in the Original Soundtrack Vol. 1, which will be released on June 5th, and this song alone will be available for pre-download from May 25th.

Yuuta Mori
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1985. Composer and arranger. While attending university, he began composing music for small theater productions, and expanded his activities to film and TV dramas.
He has been in charge of the music for the films “Kurenazume,” “Kudamono in Love,” “Young People at Dawn,” and “The Everlasting Sakura,” as well as the theater productions “muroshiki.5 “+”” through “muroshiki.10 “Shiki,” and all performances by the Gozigen Theater Company.
At NHK, she was in charge of the night drama “Your Goods Are Here,” the special drama “The Barber Shop with a View of the Sea,” and the feature drama “Love Forgetting Agent.” She loves cats.
Stuart Murdoch from Belle and Sebastian
Scottish musician, composer, author and filmmaker, and lead singer and songwriter of the iconic Glasgow-based band Belle and Sebastian.
Since forming in the mid-1990s, the band has released 12 critically acclaimed studio albums, including “Tigermilk” and “If You’re Feeling Sinister.”
In 2012, he wrote, wrote and directed the coming-of-age musical ‘God Help The Girl’ starring Olly Alexander from ‘Years & Years’.
