Nippon Columbia’s “Filter Project” artists Aki and Sakura Sakamoto release new songs today!

New songs by artists Aki and Sakura Sakamoto have been released by Nippon Columbia’s new talent discovery project, Filter Project.
Aki is a singer-songwriter who is active mainly on social media. He regularly posts videos of himself singing cover songs of various genres, from Japanese to Western music, accompanied by the sound of an acoustic guitar, mainly on TikTok and Instagram. Aki’s unique and seductive singing voice has captivated many people, and his followers on various social media sites are increasing every day. The total number of views of his cover videos has exceeded 3 million. The new song “Ameme” is the second work from Filter Project, following the previous work “Himitsu no”. Aki says about “Ameme”: “I made this song by overlapping the turning points and stitches of life. I want people to listen to it with their current selves while drawing out their past selves.” Please check it out.
Sakura Sakamoto is a singer-songwriter from Nagasaki who spins innocent music with her memorable voice and pop piano.
He began working independently in 2020, and is involved in everything from songwriting to arranging. Regarding “Transparent” to be released by Filter Project
“I would be happy if this song could be a companion to you when you feel like staring at the scenery in the midst of your busy daily life,” he says.
On August 30th of this year, the band will hold their first hall live show, “organic,” at Sakura Hall in Owada, Shibuya Cultural Center.
