FANTASY BOYS, a global group born from “Shounen Fantasy,” has been booked to appear at a major Korean music event immediately after their Japanese debut!

FANTASY BOYS, whose details for their Japanese debut were announced on June 19th, have now announced that they will be appearing at a major event right after their Japanese debut. It has been announced that they will be appearing on the 30th of MBC’s “Show! Music Core in Japan,” a special on the first half of 2024, which will be held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama on June 29th and 30th.

It is quite unusual for newcomers like FANTASY BOYS to perform on such a big stage.

Just as the title of their Japanese debut album “MAKE A FANTASY” suggests, they are sure to create a fantasy whirlwind in Japan as well.

Boasting a lineup filled with big names, MBC X (formerly Twitter), where the lineup was announced, immediately surpassed 2 million views after the announcement, and MBC Music Core in Japan X also surpassed 250,000 views.
Fans have been expressing various reactions on various social media platforms and communities, such as, “The emperors of K-Pop have gathered,” “When will tickets go on sale?” and “Will a second lineup be announced?”

FANTASY BOYS is the final debut group formed in 2023 by fans voting on the survival audition program “Boy Fantasy – Afterschool Thrills Season 2” broadcast on MBC in Korea.

The group is made up of 11 members with roots in Japan, Korea, China, and America: K-SOUL, KANG MINSEO, LEE HANBIN, HIKARI, LING QI, HIKARU, KIM WOOSEOK, HONG SUNGMIN, OH HYEONTAE, KIM GYURAE, and KAEDAN. This global boy band is made up of members from four different countries, the most in the history of groups from survival shows. (Note that member K-SOUL is currently on hiatus, as previously reported.)

In addition, prior to this event they will be holding their first ever Japan tour in May, visiting Zepp venues in four cities across the country, and in June there will be a variety of release commemorative events where you will be able to interact with the band members, including two-shot photo sessions, handshake events and mini-live shows, so be sure to check out their official website to get a real feel for them.

The final debut group, “FANTASY BOYS”, was selected by fan vote on the boy band survival audition program “Boy Fantasy – After School Thrills Season 2” broadcast by the Korean broadcasting station MBC.

The fantasy boys of our dreams, as if they were always by our side. The name contains the meaning of 11 boys who fulfill everyone’s fantasies. The members are Seoul, Kang Min-seo, Lee Han-bin, Hikari, Lynch, Hikaru, Kim Woo-seok, Hong Sung-min, Oh Hyun-tae, Kim Gyu-rae, and Keidan, including two Japanese members. What kind of fantasy will they create in Japan?
