SUAI’s first album lead single “Funky Kitty Cat” will be released today! In conjunction with this, a pre-release party will be held on September 7th at Shibuya THE GEME, with special guests!
She grew up in a family with a Chinese father and a Japanese mother, and graduated from the Tokyo College of Music, Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in flute.
After participating in a variety of programs, pop flutist SUAI will begin full-fledged solo activities in November 2023 and is gaining momentum.
Following her previous single “CIRCUS,” SUAI has released “Funky Kitty Cat,” the lead single from her first album, “Funky Kitty Cat,” today through Tune Core.
Completely different from the previous work, this is a rare classic funk tune featuring the flute as the main instrument.
The combination of the light and pop melody created by the flute and the heavy tone of the backing band is fresh.
It’s a song that you’ll find yourself listening to on repeat.
In addition, a pre-release party to celebrate SUAI’s 1st album “Funky Kitty Cat”, scheduled for release this season, will be held at SHIBUYA THE GAME on September 7th.
In addition to SUAI with Band, RYO from ORANGE RENGE & DJ KEIN have also been confirmed to perform.

Raised in a family with a Chinese father and a Japanese mother, she attended Tokyo College of Music High School and graduated from Tokyo College of Music with a degree in instrumental music and flute. After participating in various activities and programs, she began her solo career as a pop flutist in November 2023 with the release of her first lead song, “CIRCUS.”
