We will be holding our first music festival, “YOKOHAMA UNITE Music Festival 2024,” at the Yokohama BUNTAI on November 3rd (Sunday, Culture Day) and 4th (Monday, a substitute holiday), 2024. We are pleased to announce two new artists, CENT and TAIL, as performers on November 3rd (in alphabetical order).

The first ever music festival at Yokohama BUNTAI will be held over two days, November 3rd (Sunday, Culture Day) and 4th (Monday, a substitute holiday), with the theme “This town becomes one through music.”“YOKOHAMA UNITE Music Festival 2024”will be held.
As a performer on November 3rdCENT,TAILWe have now announced two new groups. We will also introduce comments from the two of them.

Comment from CENT

“Culture, sports and music. I’m very happy to be able to perform for the first time at Yokohama BUNTAI, a place that treasures the connections between them. It’s just a short ride on the Yokohama Line from my hometown of Hachioji. It’s the best day ever to be able to make music with all these wonderful people in this city that I love and where so many memories from my childhood are scattered. I want to send my love and energy to all the people who are working hard in these hot days, so that CENT’s presence can give them strength. Thank you.”

CENT Profile

This is the solo project of Cent Chihiro Chichi, a member of BiSH, a punk band without instruments that disbanded after their Tokyo Dome concert on June 29, 2023. On August 23, 2023, she released her first album, PER→CENT→AGE, under the name CENT. With the support of musicians such as Masatoshi Mashima, Kazunobu Mineta, and Emi Okamoto, she took her first steps as a solo artist. With songs from the album, she also participated in FUJIROCK FESTIVAL, RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL, and other events. In addition to being a musician, she is also a fashion icon, a talent, and an actress under the name “Chihiro Kato,” and has a multifaceted approach to her solo career.

“We are TAIL, and we will be performing at this event. Congratulations on the first event. This will be my first event appearance since changing my name, so I’m really excited. I’m also looking forward to performing with all these great musicians. See you in Yokohama!”

TAIL Profile

He made his major debut under the name Mukai Taichi with his first album “BLUE” from TOY’s FACTORY in November 2017. He will release his best album “THE LAST” in October 2023, and on November 26th of the same year at “The Last Tour Finai Toyosu PIT” he announced the end of his activities under the name Mukai Taichi and a change of name to “TAIL”. He will release his first digital single “Fundus” on January 24th, 2024, his second digital single “Toxic” on May 15th, 2024, and his first digital EP “flex” on June 12th, 2024.

The artists performing on November 3rd are I’s, who announced that they will be disbanding by the end of the year, and Kyuso Nekokami. In addition to the newly announced CENT and TAIL, four other acts have been confirmed to perform, and more will be announced in the future.
On November 4th, as part of the UNITE Music Festival SPECIAL LIVE, BRAHMAN will be holding “Rokubon Zensho Six full albums of all songs,” where they will perform all 72 of their released songs.
The YOKOHAMA UNITE Music Festival 2024 will be held at Yokohama BUNTAI on November 3rd and 4th, 2024.
