RAVE MAFIA, a party that combines rave music, hip hop, and Tokyo’s night culture, is holding its fifth event!

The special guest will be legendary DJ Kan Takagi, a key figure in creating Japan’s cultural scene in the 1980s!

ZEROTOKYO is set to hold its 5th annual “RAVE MAFIA,” a party that combines rave music and hip hop!

This episode of “RAVE MAFIA” will feature special guest Takagi Kan, the legendary DJ who was a key figure in shaping Japan’s cultural scene in the 1980s!

After joining the punk band “FLESH” in 1979, Takagi Kan formed the band “Tokyo Bravo” in 1981.

He started DJing in 1984, and formed the band “Tiny Punks” with Hiroshi Fujiwara in 1985. He then introduced the hip-hop he encountered in New York to Japan with Seiko Ito and others. In 1988, he founded Japan’s first club music label, “MAJOR FORCE.”

He was active as a solo artist in the 90s. In recent years, he has been involved with APESOUNDS, UNDERCOVER, and other artists.

We collaborate with various cultural scenes.

In addition, four highly anticipated young artists who have been gaining momentum this year and can now be seen every day on the night scene – ryota, nasthug, ecec, and MoEPiKA – will also be performing on the main floor.

We hope you will experience this collaboration between a legend and a young DJ.
