Rough x Laugh will be debuting a new song and announcing that their performances will become regular events! In addition, a new song will be released on Saturday, November 30th by a lineup of amazing creators!

Rough x Laugh is an eight-member idol group produced by TV producer Nobuyuki Sakuma, who has produced many popular programs.

Just recently, on August 23rd, they released their new song “Kawaii Switch,” which is the cutest song in Rough x Laugh’s history, making this a rapid succession of new songs.

Then, on August 31st, they announced three important announcements to their fans on the live streaming service “SHOWROOM.”

Firstly, they announced that they will hold their second sponsored concert at SUPERNOVA KAWASAKI on Saturday, December 7, 2024. In addition, they announced that their long-awaited “Rough x Laugh sponsored concert” will become a regular event, having energetically participated in many events and festivals since their debut.

The second was the debut of their new song, “I Have to Say It Like a Drama,” for the fans watching the stream.

The theme and situation of this song was announced on the spot, and the song takes a time trip to the 80s, which is the world of the sound, and makes you feel like you’re playing the lead role in a trendy drama. Although he is presented with a difficult task to improvise, the lines he utters are sure to capture the hearts of the fans in attendance, making this a song with great potential.

This song is sure to be a new addition to Rough x Laugh’s live shows, where they express “fun” through song, with songs such as their signature song “Please Give Me Time to Think,” in which a topic is given midway through the song and they attempt a comedic response, and the test song “You Are No. 1,” in which they answer questions of various genres while singing.

The third and final major announcement was not even known to the members, and they only found out about it together with the fans when a video was suddenly played.

The big announcement is the release of more new songs.

The production team for this project is super impressive! The sound producer is TeddyLoid, a music producer and DJ artist based in Japan and the US who is known for Ado’s “Odori” and “Uta” and has worked on numerous hit songs.

The lyrics were written by Chibanyan, a music producer who has written songs for various artists, including Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, The Idolmaster, Uma Musume Pretty Derby, and more.

This powerful collaboration is currently working on a song that Sakuma-P has been working on since Rough x Laugh’s debut. This gorgeous new song is set to be released on Saturday, November 30th. A release event is also planned for late October, and the girls were surprised and excited by this news, sharing their joy with their fans.
