The new app game “18TRIP,” which began service in May, held a public live broadcast on June 2nd, the anniversary of the opening of the port of Yokohama, where the story is set, featuring all the cast members from the morning, afternoon, evening, and evening teams, and new information has been arriving one after another.
“18TRIP” is a joint project between Liber Entertainment and Pony Canyon, and is a “travel-themed hospitality adventure” game set in the near-future “HAMA18 Ward” of Yokohama.
A variety of songs were released on social media even before the app was released, and while expectations for the music were rising, “18TRIP” was officially released on May 23rd. It has been decided that a total of 10 songs, including the opening/ending songs for each group, the main ending song, and the company song, sung by the characters in the app, will be released on various music distribution services for nine consecutive weeks. Starting with the morning group opening song “Dawn” at midnight on June 3rd, they will be released every week until July 31st, so please look forward to it. Pre-add and Pre-save for each work have also started.
It was announced that these songs from “18TRIP” will be released not on “CD” but on “cassette tape,” which is a key item in the work. All the jackets are original drawings by Oyo, who is in charge of character design, and “18TRIP Cassette #01 ‘Good Luck’,” which will be released on November 20th, will include three songs: the title song, the theme song “Good Luck,” the main ending song “Shall we travel?”, and the company song “We are HAMA Tours.” Next, “18TRIP Cassette #02, #03, #04, #05,” which will be released on December 4th and December 25th, will be the “‘HAMA Nice Trip’ series,” which includes the opening and ending songs for each team and original voice dramas. Reservations for the cassette tapes have begun at each store, and due to the mass production system, there will be a limited number of them available on the release date, so please make your reservation as soon as possible. Each cassette tape will come with a download code for the sound source.
Along with the decision to release the cassette tape, it has also been decided that an “Official 18TRIP Cassette Player” will be produced. Details on this will be announced at a later date, so please look forward to further information.
It has also been decided that “Each Group Fan Meeting” will be held on October 19th and November 17th, 2024 at harevutai in Ikebukuro. Advance ticket sales for each performance, “Side A” and “Side B,” will start on June 3rd. A serial number is required to apply. The serial number for “Side A” can be obtained by participating in the LINE MUSIC playback campaign for each group’s opening credits, and the serial number for “Side B” can be obtained by pre-ordering “18TRIP Cassette #02, #03, #04, #05” at a participating store with full payment. Details of the performance will be announced at a later date, so please apply early.
The official live broadcast of “18TRIP” “HAMA Tours Public Relations Department” #01 Yokohama Port Opening Festival, featured new information on the app game, the release of music videos for each group’s ending, and pre-order sales information for new merchandise released to commemorate the event. It has been decided that a cooperative relationship will be built with Yokohama City going forward, and various initiatives will be carried out.
