Kroi has announced that the lead track “Green Flash” from his album “Unspoiled” will be aired on the radio for the first time on J-WAVE (81.3FM)’s “SONAR MUSIC” on June 18th.
Kroi’s third album “Unspoiled” is due for release on June 19th. The lead track “Green Flash” is a mid-tempo funk number that is being released after a string of up-tempo tie-up songs. Vocalist Uchida’s soulful singing, which is one of his charms, and the band’s sound making, which gives a sense of free and unrestrained playfulness, are the foundations of Kroi’s “new territory.” This song was completed after constant pursuit of sound, and is a song that sums up the colorful worldview of “Unspoiled.” Please take this opportunity to listen to it before the release.
In addition, preview videos of all the songs on the album have been released on Kroi’s official YouTube channel. Since early June, only the first 30 seconds of each song have been released on Kroi’s official SNS every day, but this time, previews of all the songs have been released, and the full picture of “Unspoiled” has finally been revealed. To commemorate the release of “Unspoiled,” Tower Records Shibuya will hold a large photo panel, panel exhibition, and a special Unspoiled exhibition. A five-member band that presents a mixture of musical influences from various music genres, including R&B, funk, soul, rock, and hip hop.
