KOTORI has decided to hold additional local tours in support of their new album “KOTORI,” which was released on May 29th.
The announcement was made on June 18th at the first performance of the solo live tour held at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST, which was a packed house. The tour title is “Japanese Super Perfect Tour LOCAL” and will be held in six cities, starting with the Kanazawa performance on August 8th. All performances on this tour will be two-man live, with ANORAK!, ENTH, Sunao, Hitohira, and Maki as guests.
Official advance ticket reservations began on June 18th and will be accepted until June 24th. All performances of the currently ongoing “Japanese Super Perfect Tour” have sold out except for the Miyazaki performance on July 9th. Tickets for the Miyazaki performance are also limited, so be sure to check early.
In addition, the music video for “Tokyo,” a track from the new album “KOTORI,” has been released. It’s been 10 years since they moved to Tokyo and formed a band, and the city they’ve been walking around alone, yearning for and dreaming about, has somehow become a place they return to from their hometown, but one they feel is no longer a place they return to, but a place they feel is a place they should return to because they have loved ones there. This is a special, moving ballad song that candidly expresses the emotions that frontman Yokoyama has been cherishing for a long time. The video shows Yokoyama walking through the streets of Tokyo in what could be described as a monologue, and is written in a heartfelt manner.
The new album “KOTORI” is his fourth full album. It includes 11 songs in total, including “Himitsu”, which was written as the ending theme for the TV anime “Under Ninja”, “DAWN”, “Heartbeat”, “Tokyo”, “Overdrive”, and others that were released digitally. The vinyl version is also available for pre-sale at the venue of the currently ongoing “Japanese Super Perfect Tour”, so be sure to check it out.
In addition, the band will be hosting their first festival in three years, “TORI ROCK FESTIVAL 2024,” at CLUB CITTA’ Kawasaki for two days on October 29th and 30th. Please look forward to this as well.

A four-member band formed in Koshigaya, Saitama in 2014. They are affiliated with Small Indies Table.
The emotional singing voice of Yuya Yokoyama (Vo/Gt), who delicately writes about everyday life and shouts loudly, and the strong rhythm create a vivid and outstanding performance, and the rock sound that overwhelms the floor continues to ring out. KOTORI’s music, whose songs resonate endlessly and are sung by the audience, is now in 2023, and is one of the most important bands in the band scene that can resonate greatly with the same generation.
In July 2023, they will perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’23 for the third time. The RED MARQUEE stage ended with great success. In September, they held a tour to release their EP “Good Luck” with 27 performances in 25 cities nationwide. The performances were sold out in each area.
In 2024, they will release their fourth new album “KOTORI” on May 29th and hold an album tour in eight cities starting at Shibuya O-EAST on June 18th. They will also appear at major festivals around the country, such as TRIANGLE 2024, ARABAKI ROCK FEST.24, CRAFTROCK FESTIVAL ’24, CAMPASS 2024, Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2024, YON FES, and Lucky Fes!
