Tomoko Furuuchi's 2005 song "somewhere in TOKYO" is revived with a new music video! A 5-song digital single will also be released!

The music video for “somewhere in TOKYO,” the first collaboration song by Toko Furuuchi and Takaki Horigome of Kirinji, released in 2005, has been completed after about 20 years. It has been decided that the video will be released on the TOKO FURUUCHI Official YouTube Channel from 9:00 pm on June 26th.

The director is Takayuki Kojima, a veteran filmmaker who has won overwhelming support from artists, major and indie alike. The film was produced using a technique that combines AI and collage, and the resulting work is both new and nostalgic, with a time-leap feel and a scene of a man and woman somewhere in Tokyo that matches the lyrics.

In addition, music videos for the singles she released while still with Pony Canyon, “Sayonara Aishiteta Hito,” “Stay,” “Kite a Coat,” and “Beautiful Days” (short) will be released one after another. It has also been decided that a digital single containing the above five songs will be released on July 24th.

Reservations are now being accepted for the limited edition analog records “Futsuu no Koto” and “CASHMERE MUSIC” to be released on August 3rd.
