Bialystocks Profile
(Read: Bialystocks)
The band was formed in 2019 after performing live at a screening of the film “Haruneko,” directed by vocalist Sora Hokimoto and produced by Shinji Aoyama.
Selected for Spotify’s “RADAR: Early Noise 2022”, they released their major debut album “Quicksand” in November of the same year through PONYCANYON / IRORI Records. The combination of folky and warm melodies sung by vocalist Motoki Hoki’s soulful and expansive voice and keyboardist Go Kikuchi’s jazz-based but genre-crossing instrumental arrangement is described as both universal and cutting-edge.
