Release information has been announced for new songs “Blouse” and “MAKUAKE” by Gohoubi, a four-member mixed-gender band with a tofu-mental mentality.
The opening theme song for the TV anime “Gisu Harem”, “Blouse”, will be released on July 5th. “Gisu Harem” is a romantic comedy by Saito Yuu. It gained popularity with a total of 5.6 million likes when it was posted on X (formerly Twitter), and started serialization in Shogakukan’s “Gessan”, with all 6 volumes of the comic currently on sale. The anime will start airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from 24:30 on July 4th (0:30 on July 5th).
The lyrics, which overlap with the relationship between the story’s protagonists, Kitahama Eiji (voiced by Okamoto Nobuhiko) and Nanakura Rin (voiced by Hayami Saori), are sung by a mixed male-female vocal lineup by Susie (vocals, key) and cody (vocals, guitar), making this an opening theme song that only Gohoubi could have created.
And on July 8th, “MAKUAKE” will be released as the ending theme for the TV anime “Isekai Yururi Kikou ~ I’ll Be an Adventurer While Raising a Child ~”. “Isekai Yururi Kikou ~ I’ll Be an Adventurer While Raising a Child ~” is based on the fantasy novel of the same name by Shizuru Minazuki. It depicts the “relaxed adventurer life” of the protagonist Takumi, who is reincarnated in another world, and the twins Allen and Elena whom he meets there. The original novel is currently on sale up to volume 16. The anime will start broadcasting on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and other stations from 25:50 on July 7th (1:50 on July 8th). The story begins with Takumi, a young man who is reincarnated in another world, protecting the young twins Allen and Elena who were wandering the forest, and as he explores the other world, he deepens his bond as a “parent and child”. This song depicts the connections and relationships between such families and people in Gohobi’s own way.
